Ukash extends partnership with beCharge

Ukash has extended its partnership with beCharge, the loading and top-up website for prepaid cards and mobiles. Now British shoppers can buy Ukash online, which can then be used to purchase Ukash voucher codes for e-commerce and gaming transactions as well as top up the Ukash Prepaid MasterCard.

Ukash and beCharge have been working together in Belgium, Spain, France, Netherlands and Luxembourg for a number of years, and the addition of the UK reflects the continued focus of Ukash to enable social inclusion for consumers wherever they are in the world.

James Allum, Chief Commercial Officer, Ukash said: “We’re delighted to have expanded our relationship with beCharge to encompass the UK. This partnership enables us to provide consumers in this key strategic market with a fast, simple and secure way to buy Ukash without having to leave their home, whether for online transactions where they don’t want to share their financial details or to load their Ukash Prepaid MasterCard. It’s ideal for anyone who doesn’t have time to go to a convenience store to buy their Ukash but who still wants the safety and security that using Ukash provides.”

beCharge accept payments for Ukash through Mastercard and Visa credit and debit cards and with Ukash becoming the latest addition to the site, the company now accepts payments to 80 European mobile phone networks and more than 300 non-European mobile networks via prepaid and internet loads and top-ups.
