With C2Box, B.A.S to supply UASC with private TMS cloud solution

United Arab Shipping Company (UASC), a global shipping company based in the Middle East, has 185 offices around the world. The company is the largest container shipping line in the Middle East region and adjacent markets, covering 240 ports and destinations worldwide.

B.A.S will provide a secure private cloud version of their TMS – C2box which allows UASC to centrally collate all standard bank statements and to have an electronic payment factory via the SWIFT network.

Philippe Jamhouri, BAS - Head of Business Development in the MENA says “– C2Box will enable UASC to increase control and visibility into their treasury and by implementing an electronic payment factory we will be able to provide savings for the group, both in time and money by streamlining the payment processes”.

Roderik Flikweert, Vice President Treasury & Investments at UASC says “With C2Box we will be able to connect with all our banks worldwide to receive the daily bank statements and maintain control of our cash. But having multiple banks worldwide, C2Box also offers one secured payment platform to execute our payments, instead of using multiple electronic bank platforms. With the roll-out of our global cash management project, we now have the right treasury tool to support us with efficient cash management and the setup of our payment factory.”
