The Cleveland Foundation [CLEVELAND] announced the appointment of Rosanne Potter as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Potter replaces retiring Cleveland Foundation SVP and CFO Kate Asbeck. Potter most recently was Senior Manager for Pension Management at Eaton Corporation. She also has held treasurer positions at several other global companies including the Lubrizol Corporation, RTI International Metals and Dexter Corporation.

Red Lion Hotels Corporation [SPOKANE, Wash.] (NYSE: RLH) announced that James Bell, its former Chief Financial Officer, has decided to leave RLHC to pursue another professional venture. The Board has appointed David Wright, the Company’s Vice President of Accounting, Tax & External Reporting, as interim Chief Financial Officer. David Wright joined RLHC in 2015 as Vice President of Accounting, Tax & External Reporting. He worked for the previous seven years in various technical accounting roles at Itron and for 11 years prior to that in increasing supervisory roles on external audit engagements at Deloitte.
AMAG Pharmaceuticals, Inc. [WALTHAM, Mass.] (NASDAQ: AMAG) announced the appointment of Edward (Ted) Myles as senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer. Prior to joining AMAG, he served in various positions at Ocata Therapeutics, Inc., most recently as chief financial officer and chief operating officer. From 2008 to 2013, Mr. Myles served as chief financial officer and vice president of operations at PrimeraDx, Inc. Prior to that, Mr. Myles was senior vice president of finance and chief financial officer of Pressure Biosciences, Inc. Earlier in his career, Mr. Myles was an associate at SG Cowen Securities Corporation and served as corporate controller for Boston Biomedica.
Famous Dave’s of America, Inc. [MINNEAPOLIS] (NASDAQ: DAVE) has appointed Dexter Newman as Chief Financial Officer. Newman most recently served as Vice President and a Division Chief Financial Officer at Bloomin’ Brands Inc. He was formerly the Vice President and Treasurer, and Head of Risk Management from October 2012 through October 2013 for Bloomin’ Brands. From February 2002 to August 2012, he was employed in numerous roles with Best Buy Co., Inc., most recently serving as Senior Director and Chief Financial Officer of Best Buy’s Private Brands and Global Sourcing Group, and previously serving as Senior Director and Deputy Treasurer. Prior to his role within Treasury at Best Buy, Newman worked as Director, Strategy Development and Operations for Best Buy International. Before joining Best Buy, he spent two years with Scotiabank.
