SDL PLC confirmed the previous announcement that Dominic Lavelle has been appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Board Member of the Company with immediate effect. He takes over as CFO from Matthew Knight who has held the role since April 2011. Until February 2013, Mr Lavelle was Interim CFO at Mothercare plc and prior to that held the CFO role within a number of private and publicly traded companies, the latter including Oasis plc, Allders plc and Alfred McAlpine plc.

Ashmore Group plc announced that Graeme Dell has stepped down from the Board, in order to be able to pursue other business opportunities. Graeme will remain employed by the Group until 30 April 2014 to enable a thorough and orderly handover of his responsibilities. Tom Shippey, currently Ashmore’s Head of Corporate Development, has been appointed Group Finance Director and has joined the Board to succeed Graeme. Prior to joining Ashmore in 2007, Shippey worked for UBS Investment Bank, including advising on the Ashmore IPO in 2006.

Digital Barriers plc (AIM: DGB) announced the appointment of Sharon Denise Cooper to the Board of Digital Barriers as Group Finance Director with effect from 3 March 2014. Sharon started her career at Ernst & Young in 2000, and has subsequently served in a number of senior finance roles with Sophos Limited. Sharon is currently VP, Commercial Finance at Sophos Limited having previously served with the organisation as Group Financial Controller.

Finsbury Food Group plc (AIM: FIF) announced the departure of Crawford Currie as Finance Director of Lightbody Group and Finsbury Group board member.

Filtronic plc announced that Mike Brennan, Chief Financial Officer, has informed the Board of his intention to step down as a Director and to leave the Company in April 2014. Mike joined Filtronic in 2009 as Chief Financial Officer.
