FTI Consulting, Inc. [Washington, D.C.] (NYSE: FCN) announced that its Chief Financial Officer, David M. Johnson will leave the Company on February 29, 2016, to accept a position as Chief Financial Officer of the International Rescue Committee. Mr. Johnson will continue as the Chief Financial Officer of FTI Consulting until his departure date and will complete the preparation and filing of the Company’s Annual Report.

TiVo Inc. [SAN JOSE, CA] (NASDAQ: TIVO) has named Naveen Chopra, the company’s chief financial officer, interim chief executive officer, effective January 30, 2016. Mr. Chopra has been with TiVo since 2003, serving most recently as its chief financial officer while also leading the company’s corporate development and strategy initiatives. Before joining TiVo, Chopra held a variety of business development and product marketing roles at HP, Microsoft, Moxi Digital, Ispiri and Ofoto.

Jobvite [SAN MATEO, CA] announced the appointment of Peter Maloney as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer. Peter’s previous experience includes: CFO of E2Open, CFO of SNOCAP, Inc. and CFO of Keynote Systems, Inc.

Informatica [Redwood City, Calif.] announced it has appointed Doug Barnett as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Prior to Informatica, Barnett was the executive vice president and chief financial officer at TriZetto Corporation. Prior to TriZetto, Barnett was a managing director and chief financial officer of AlixPartners. Before joining AlixPartners, Barnett was senior vice president of Finance for UGS PLM Software (acquired by Siemens).

Taulia Inc. [SAN FRANCISCO, CA] named John Varughese as CFO. Varughese joins Taulia from Perella Weinberg Partners, where he served as a partner in the advisory business. Prior to Perella, Varughese was a managing director at Lehman Brothers, where he led investment banking teams for many of the firm’s largest technology clients.

UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) announced Nakisa Bidarian as the organization’s new Chief Financial Officer. Bidarian was formerly UFC’s Executive Vice President of Strategy and Business Ventures. Prior to joining UFC, Bidarian led international real estate and hospitality investment and asset management for Mubadala Development Company. Before Mubadala, he was an investment banker at Morgan Stanley and Citigroup, specializing in merger and acquisitions.

APQC [HOUSTON] announced that Mike Hinson has joined the organization as chief financial officer. APQC’s longtime CFO Mike Shea will assist with the transition until his retirement on March 1, 2016, after 28 years with the organization. Prior to joining APQC, Hinson spent more than four years as the president and chief executive officer of Wright Therapy Products, Inc. He gained extensive sales, finance, and international experience in leadership roles at Bayer Healthcare (MEDRAD), Sony Electronics, ARCO International Oil & Gas, and KPMG.

Applied Micro Circuits Corporation [SANTA CLARA, Calif.] (NASDAQ: AMCC) announced the appointment of Martin S. McDermut as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. McDermut replaces Karen Rogge who served as interim chief financial officer since August 2015. Mr. McDermut was most recently senior vice president, finance and chief financial officer of Vitesse Semiconductor Corporation from August 2011 until April 2015, when the company was acquired by Microsemi Corporation. Mr. McDermut also served as chief financial officer for publicly traded companies including Iris International Inc. and Superconductor Technologies Inc. He was a partner at the public accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand (now known as PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP), where he was the practice leader of the firm’s Los Angeles Entrepreneurial Advisory Services group.

Church Mutual Insurance Company [MERRILL, Wis.] announced the promotion of Kevin Root to Senior Vice President – Operations and Jeffrey Steffen to Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Kevin Root joined Church Mutual in September 2012 as vice president and chief financial officer. Jeff Steffen brings 22 years of business and insurance experience to the CFO position, including three years as Church Mutual’s director of financial planning and analysis.

HealthWarehouse.com, Inc. [CINCINNATI] (OTC: HEWA) announced that it has appointed Daniel Seliga as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining the Company full time, Mr. Seliga was a Managing Director of Melrose Capital, the Company’s senior lender. From September 2010 to December 2012, he was General Manager and Business Manager for MVI Enterprises. From November 1996 to July 2010, Mr. Seliga was the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Operations for Mae Holding Company. Prior to 1996, Mr. Seliga served as a commercial and real estate lending officer for Bank of New York and PNC Bank.

AMETEK, Inc. [BERWYN, Pa.] (NYSE: AME) announced the appointment of William J. Burke as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective May 15, 2016. Mr. Burke currently serves as Senior Vice President, Comptroller & Treasurer. He will replace Robert R. Mandos, Jr. who has announced his retirement after 35 very successful years with AMETEK. Mr. Burke joined AMETEK in 1987 and served in a number of financial, operational and business unit management roles prior to being named Vice President, Investor & Corporate Relations in 1999. He was named Vice President, Investor Relations and Treasurer in 2007 and in 2012 was elected to his current role as Senior Vice President, Comptroller & Treasurer.

Anaplan [SAN FRANCISCO] announced the appointment of James Budge, former Genesys and Rovi CFO and COO, as its Chief Financial Officer.

Tegile Systems [NEWARK, Calif.] announced the appointment of Michael Morgan as Chief Financial Officer. Most recently Morgan served as the CFO of Panzura. Before that, he held the CFO position at Model N. Morgan has also served as CFO of BackWeb Technologies, and led two IPOs including Talarian, which was sold to Tibco Software.

Antares Capital [CHICAGO] announced that it hired Barry Giarraputo as chief financial officer. Mr. Giarraputo joins Antares from 40 North Management where he served as chief operating officer. Prior to that role, Mr. Giarraputo was with Apollo Global Management as an executive officer, chief accounting officer and controller, and CFO at various Apollo subsidiaries.

CollabNet [SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.] announced the addition of Amir Ameri as chief financial officer. Ameri joins CollabNet from Precise Software, where he served as CFO. Prior to Precise, Ameri was CFO of EnergyConnect. He also served as CFO and VP of operations for Aperto Networks and CFO and VP of finance and administration of Resumix.

Crystal Rock Holdings, Inc. [WATERTOWN, CT] (NYSE MKT: CRVP) announced the promotion of David Jurasek to Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, Jurasek has served the last four years as Crystal Rock’s Vice President of Finance. Beginning at Crystal Rock in 1995, Jurasek has served in various financial and insurance capacities including the merger between Crystal Rock and Vermont Pure in 2000. Prior to Crystal Rock, he worked as Director of Finance for Nuclear Energy Services.

MetricStream [PALO ALTO, Calif.] announced the appointment of Bert Clement as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Most recently, Mr. Clement served as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Atrenta. Prior to Atrenta, he held the Senior Vice President, CFO and Controller titles at VeriSign. Mr. Clement has also held executive positions at MCI Telecommunications, Broad Point Communications, and Network Solutions.

Legacy Education Alliance, Inc. [CAPE CORAL, Fla.] (OTC: LEAI) appointed Christian A. J. Baeza to Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) of its Company. Mr. Baeza was formerly the Company’s Interim CFO from June 2015 and Vice President and Corporate Controller from April 2015. From 2008 to 2014, Mr. Baeza held various senior finance positions, including Director of Financial Reporting and Assistant Corporate Controller, at Kraton Performance Polymers, Inc. Mr. Baeza held various finance positions from 2003 to 2008 at Spectra Energy Corp.

Catapult Learning, Inc. [CAMDEN, N.J.] announced the promotion of Andrea Vargas to President of the company’s Schools Division. Ms. Vargas most recently served as Corporate Chief Financial Officer, a position she assumed following Catapult Learning’s merger with Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) in July 2015. From 2004 to 2015, Ms. Vargas held several leadership roles with SESI, including Controller, Chief Accounting Officer, and Vice President of Finance. Prior to her tenure at SESI, she worked in various finance and accounting functions at several large corporations, including United Technologies.

Captivate [NEW YORK] announced Harris Hwang as Chief Financial Officer. Hwang brings 20+ years of financial experience and leadership from top corporations, including Getty Images, BlackRock and Merrill Lynch. Hwang was promoted from Executive Vice President, Strategic Planning and Corporate Development.

Hydrocarb Energy Corporation [HOUSTON] (OTC: HECC) announced that K. Andrew Lai has joined the Company’s executive management team as its new Chief Financial Officer. From January 2013 to December 2015, Mr. Lai was an international financial consultant working mainly with oil and gas and real estate investors from China. From January 2011 to December 2012, Mr. Lai was the Chief Financial Officer of Lucas Energy, Inc. in Houston, Texas. From May 2010 to December 2010, Mr. Lai was an international business consultant. From October 2007 to April 2010, Mr. Lai served as Chief Financial Officer with Far East Energy Corporation in Houston. Mr. Lai joined Far East in 2007 and served as a member of Far East’s management team until his appointment as Chief Financial Officer. From 1999 to 2007, Mr. Lai held various managerial positions with EOG Resources, Inc., in Houston, including Financial Reporting Director and International Accounting Director. From 1987 to 1998, Mr. Lai held various positions with UMC Petroleum Corp. (which subsequently merged into Devon Energy).

LiveOps Cloud [AUSTIN, Texas] announced that Jeff Byal has joined as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He most recently served as the CFO and Interim CEO at NewComLink. Prior to NewComLink, he was the Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at EZCORP, Inc. He has also held CFO roles and other financial leadership positions at companies including MSI Systems Integrators, Pamida, GiftCertificates.com, Gordmans and Appriss.

Nuo Therapeutics, Inc. [GAITHERSBURG, Md.] (OTC: NUOT) announced the appointment of the Company’s Acting Chief Financial Officer, David E. Jorden, as the Company’s Acting Chief Executive Officer.

Anki [SAN FRANCISCO] appointed Dominic Ruso as Chief Financial Officer. Ruso was formerly the CFO at Beats by Dr. Dre. Prior to Beats, Ruso was the Channel Controller for EMEIA and held senior positions in Sales Finance in Cupertino. Before joining Apple, he spent many years at Cisco Systems, Inc., holding various senior positions in Finance and Operations.

Venminder [ELIZABETHTOWN, KY] announced Michael Campbell will join as chief financial officer.

Jaguar Growth Partners [NEW YORK] announced the appointment of Ian Wilkin as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Jaguar, Mr. Wilkin was Head of Decision Support for Real Estate & Infrastructure at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA). Prior to ADIA, Mr. Wilkin worked with Ernst & Young (EY) in the United Kingdom.

Healogics, Inc. [JACKSONVILLE, Fla.] announced that David Bassin has joined the company as chief financial officer. Bassin most recently served as chief financial officer at eviCore Healthcare, Inc. (MedSolutions, Inc.). Previously, David was the chief financial officer at Inventiv Health where he spent eleven years progressing in multiple financial roles.

Aquantia [SAN JOSE, Calif.] announced Mark Voll has been appointed the company’s chief financial officer. Most recently, he was CFO at Montage Technology Group. Additionally, he was chief financial officer of MoSys, Inc. from June 2002 to November 2005 and also from March 1998 to June 2000.

FusionHealth [ATLANTA] appointed Mike McCloskey as its Chief Financial Officer. Before joining FusionHealth, McCloskey was the CFO for Norcross-based TransCentra, Inc. McCloskey was also CFO of Atlanta-based Parkmobile USA, Inc. Additionally, McCloskey held several senior level finance positions with organizations like Harland Clarke, where he was Vice President of Finance Operations.

SessionM [BOSTON] announced that it has hired Todd Donahue as chief financial officer. Donahue joins SessionM from erecruit, where he served as CFO and COO. Prior to erecruit, Donahue held several senior finance and operating roles including CFO at Livewire Mobile, Chief Accounting Officer at NMS Communications and VP Product Operations and VP Finance at Aspen Technology.

Pioneer Power Solutions, Inc. [FORT LEE, N.J.] (NASDAQ: PPSI) announced that Thomas Klink, President of Pioneer’s Jefferson Electric Segment and an experienced financial executive, has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer of Pioneer Power Solutions, Inc. He succeeds Andrew Minkow, who has resigned from Pioneer, as both an officer and a director, to pursue other professional opportunities. Most recently, Mr. Klink was President of Jefferson Electric, rising to that position after serving in several positions of increasing responsibility, including chief executive officer, chief financial officer, vice president, treasurer, secretary and chairman of the board of directors. Previously, from 1994 to 1996, Mr. Klink served as a division controller at MagneTek, Inc.

Montefiore Health System (MHS) [NEW YORK] appointed Colleen M. Blye as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Ms. Blye joins Montefiore from Catholic Health Services of Long Island (CHS), where she served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Earlier in her career, she was Executive Vice President for Finance and Integrated Services at Catholic Health Initiatives, a health system with 78 hospitals in 20 states.

Vince Holding Corp. [NEW YORK] (NYSE: VNCE) announced the appointment of David Stefko to the position of Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Mr. Stefko previously held the position of Interim CFO and Treasurer. Mr. Stefko has 28 years of senior finance and executive management experience and until being named Interim Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, held the position of Group CFO at Sun Capital Partners. Prior to joining Sun Capital, he served as SVP, CFO & CAO of Things Remembered.

Education Management Corporation [PITTSBURGH] announced that Mick J. Beekhuizen will be stepping down as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective February 29. Frank Jalufka will replace Mr. Beekhuizen as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Jalufka most recently served as the Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at The Dolan Company.

SmartSource Computer & Audio Visual Rentals [HAUPPAUGE, N.Y.] announced that Sanjay Kapur has joined the company as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Vice President (VP) of Finance. He succeeds CFO Stephen Rupolo, who is now leading corporate product, pricing and asset management strategy in the newly created position of Vice President – Product Strategy. Prior to joining SmartSource Rentals, Kapur spent almost 20 years with Arrow Electronics, Inc., serving most recently as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Director of Finance for A.E. Petsche (an Arrow Electronics Company based in Arlington, TX). In addition to his role as CFO for Petsche, Kapur has held multiple executive operating roles at Arrow in areas of finance, sales management, marketing and procurement. Prior to Arrow, Kapur spent five years with McKinsey & Company (Houston, TX) and two years with PricewaterhouseCoopers (Pittsburgh, PA).

U.S. Concrete, Inc. [EULESS, TX] (NASDAQ: USCR) announced that it has hired Joseph C. “Jody” Tusa, Jr. as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Tusa was most recently the CFO of Emerge Energy Services LP. Tusa’s diverse financial experience also includes CFO roles at USA Compression Partners, LP, COMSYS IT Partners, Inc., and DSM Copolymer, Inc., along with senior leadership positions at Metamor Worldwide, Inc. and TOTAL American Mining, Inc.

Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc. [ST. LOUIS, MO] (NASDAQ: ISLE) announced that Eric Hausler, Isle’s chief financial officer, will become chief executive officer; Hausler was named chief financial officer in July 2014. Prior to that, he served as chief strategic officer from 2011 to 2014 and senior vice president, strategic initiatives from 2009 to 2011. Before joining Isle, Hausler served as senior vice president of development for another gaming company and held various positions on Wall Street covering the gaming, lodging and leisure industries.

First Business Financial Services, Inc. [MADISON, WI] (NASDAQ: FBIZ) announced the appointment of Edward G. Sloane, Jr. as Chief Financial Officer. Sloane brings to First Business more than 30 years of financial services experience, most recently serving as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer with Peoples Bancorp, Inc. Prior to that, he spent 19 years with WesBanco, Inc., a financial services company in Wheeling, West Virginia, where he held the positions of Senior Vice President – Strategic Planning & Analysis, Senior Vice President – Controller, and other roles. Sloane will replace First Business Chief Financial Officer James Ropella, who will continue in the roles of Senior Vice President and Treasurer to facilitate the transition of the Chief Financial Officer position to Mr. Sloane.

Virtus Pharmaceuticals [TAMPA, Fl.] hired Damian Finio as Chief Financial Officer. Finio was previously SVP Finance at Heritage Pharmaceuticals, and has previous senior finance experience with West-Ward Pharmaceuticals, Daiichi Sankyo Pharma Development after spending over 14 year with AstraZeneca in various finance roles.

American Science and Engineering, Inc. (“AS&E”) [BILLERICA, Mass.] (NASDAQ: ASEI) announced the appointment of Diane Basile as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and Treasurer of the Company. Basile succeeds Kenneth Galaznik, who has served in those roles since 2008 and is retiring following the end of the current fiscal year, as previously announced. Prior to joining the company, Basile served as CFO of Intronis. Previously, she was Vice President of Finance for Nuance Communications’ Healthcare Division, and held senior financial posts at technology firms including Mercury Computer and PerkinElmer.

Wheeler Real Estate Investment Trust, Inc. [Virginia Beach, VA] (NASDAQ:WHLR) announced that Wilkes Graham will join the Company as its Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Graham will succeed Steven Belote, who will remain with the Company as its Chief Operating Officer. Since 2010 Mr. Graham has worked with Compass Point Research & Trading, LLC where he served as Director of Research and as a Senior Sell-Side Equity Research Analyst. Prior to joining Compass Point, Mr. Graham worked as a Vice President and a Senior Sell-Side Analyst focused on the real estate sector at FBR Capital Markets & Co. Previously, he worked as a Research Associate covering REITs for Raymond James & Associates.

BioBlast Pharma Ltd. [NEW HAVEN, Conn.] (NASDAQ: ORPN) announced that it has appointed Robert (Bob) Cook to the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). As previously announced, Udi Gilboa, co-founder of the Company, who until today was the CFO, will now transition to a special advisor role reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and will continue as a member of the Company’s board of directors. Mr. Cook most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Strata Skin Sciences, formerly Mela Sciences. Carver Bancorp, Inc. [NEW YORK] (NASDAQ: CARV), the holding company for Carver Federal Savings Bank, announced that David Toner will be stepping down as Chief Financial Officer, effective on or about February 18, 2016, to pursue other opportunities. Mr. Toner will continue to serve as CFO until that time and will assist with the transition. Mr. Toner joined Carver Bancorp, Inc. in 2009 and has served as CFO since 2013.

Liberty TripAdvisor Holdings, Inc. [Englewood, Colorado] announced that Christopher W. Shean resigned as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. The Company appointed Brian J. Wendling to serve as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Wendling has been Vice President and Controller of the Company since August 2014. He has also served as Vice President and Controller of Liberty Media Corporation since January 2013 and Liberty Interactive Corporation for more than the past five years. Prior thereto, Mr. Wendling held various positions with these companies and their predecessors since 1999. He has also served as Vice President and Controller of Liberty Broadband Corporation since October 2014.
