Rocket Fuel [REDWOOD CITY, Calif.] (NASDAQ: FUEL) announced that Rex Jackson will join the company as chief financial officer. Jackson brings a remarkably well-rounded executive management background to Rocket Fuel, serving as CFO for three public companies, Synopsys, Symyx and JDS Uniphase, as general counsel to both private and public companies, and in a breadth of other senior business roles; most recently, at JDSU (now Viavi Solutions).

Discovery Communications [Silver Spring, Md.] (NASDAQ: DISCA, DISCB, DISCK) announced that Chief Financial Officer Andrew Warren has decided to leave the company.

FullContact [DENVER, CO] announced Rushton McGarr has joined as its new chief financial officer. McGarr was most recently the president, chief operating officer and board member at concept3D, and co-founder of Market Force Information. Before that he was the co-founder and senior vice president of products at Market Force Information.

Donuts Inc. [BELLEVUE, Wash.] announced that David Rostov has been named Chief Financial Officer. Rostov is a seasoned executive and CFO who has led several technology companies through their growth stages. Most recently, Rostov was CFO of Avalara. Previously he was CFO of Infospace and

Xilinx, Inc. [SAN JOSE, Calif.] (NASDAQ: XLNX) announced that Jon Olson plans to retire from his full-time role as Chief Financial Officer, and Lorenzo A. Flores, Corporate Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller for Xilinx, will be appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Lorenzo joined Xilinx as Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller in 2008. Prior to joining Xilinx, he spent 10 years at Intel, served as CFO of a venture funded start up, and was assistant Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis at Cognizant Technology Solutions.

Contech Engineered Solutions [WEST CHESTER, Ohio] announced that Jim Waters has joined the Company as Chief Financial Officer. Waters joins Contech following a career at the Hillman Group. He started with Hillman in 1999 as CFO and after twelve years was promoted to COO in 2011 and CEO in 2013. Prior to the Hillman Group Waters, he worked at both Curtis Industries and Ernst & Young.

Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. [SAN JOSE, Calif.] (NASDAQ: MPWR) announced that Meera Rao has informed the company of her intention to retire from the company. Following Ms. Rao’s departure, Bernie Blegen, MPS’ corporate controller, will serve as the interim chief financial officer. Mr. Blegen has been serving as MPS’ corporate controller since 2011. Prior to joining MPS, Mr. Blegen held a number of senior finance and executive accounting roles for other publicly traded technology companies, including Xilinx, Inc.

Capricor Therapeutics, Inc. [LOS ANGELES] (NASDAQ: CAPR) announced the appointment of Leland J. Gershell as Chief Financial Officer. Dr. Gershell comes to Capricor from Tonix Pharmaceuticals where he served as its Chief Financial Officer since early 2012. Prior to his corporate career, Dr. Gershell worked in the securities industry as an equity research analyst and covered a variety of therapeutics companies, having started with the biotechnology team at Cowen and Company. He also served as an analyst at Apothecary Capital.

Code42 [MINNEAPOLIS] announced that Tim Connor has joined the company as its new chief financial officer (CFO). Prior to joining Code42, Connor was chief financial officer at Datalogix. Connor also previously served as chief financial officer and senior vice president of operations at Access Health (until its acquisition by McKesson) and as managing director in technology investment banking at Lehman Brothers. In addition, Connor is a partner at Sequel Venture Partners.

Mercury Media [FRAMINGHAM, Mass] has announced the appointments of Ari S. Milstein as Chief Financial Officer. Milstein has more than fifteen years of successful CFO experience spanning marketing services, technology and multi-location organizations. Previous to Mercury, he served in executive positions at MSLGROUP, Schwartz Communications, Adlex, Quantiva, and Switchboard.

NGL Energy Partners LP [TULSA, Okla.] (NYSE: NGL) announced that Robert W. (“Trey”) Karlovich III has been appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Karlovich recently served as the Chief Financial Officer for Targa Pipeline Partners, LP, a subsidiary of Targa Resources Partners LP, from February 2015 through February 2016 and as Senior Vice President of Commercial and Business Development for Targa Resources Partners LP from November 2015 through February 2016. Mr. Karlovich served in various roles at Atlas Pipeline Partners, L.P. and its subsidiaries (“APL”) from September 2006 through February 2015, most recently as Chief Financial Officer (since November 2011) and Chief Accounting Officer (since November 2009). Mr. Karlovich served as Controller of Atlas Pipeline Mid-Continent LLC, a subsidiary of APL, from September 2006 to November 2009. Mr. Karlovich served in various roles at Syntroleum Corporate from February 2004 through September 2006, most recently as Controller.

Bruker Corporation [BILLERICA, Mass.] (NASDAQ: BRKR) announced the appointment of Anthony (‘Tony’) Mattacchione as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Mattacchione has served as the Company’s Interim Chief Financial Officer since June 2015, and he previously served as Bruker’s Senior Vice President of Finance & Accounting. Prior to joining Bruker, Mr. Mattacchione served as Chief Financial Officer of EMD Millipore Corporation, a subsidiary of Merck KGaA, from 2010 to 2013. Previously, he was Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of Millipore Corporation between 2006 and 2010. He also held various financial leadership roles during a 16-year career at Gerber Scientific.

Monster Worldwide, Inc. [Weston, Massachusetts] announced that Timothy T. Yates has been appointed as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Yateswill also continue to serve as the Company’s Chief Executive Officer and as a director of the Company.

Level 3 Communications, Inc. [BROOMFIELD, Colo.] (NYSE: LVLT) has named Sunit S. Patel, Level 3’s chief financial officer, interim CEO. Mr. Patel has been Level 3’s chief financial officer since 2003, and served as interim president of Level 3’s EMEA region in 2014.

bluebird bio, Inc. [CAMBRIDGE, Mass.] (NASDAQ: BLUE) announced that Jim DeTore, chief financial officer, has decided to leave the company, effective March 18, 2016. In conjunction with this announcement, bluebird bio is appointing Jeffrey Walsh as chief financial and strategy officer, effective March 1, 2016. Mr. Walsh previously served as chief operating officer of bluebird bio since May 2011. Prior to joining bluebird bio, Mr. Walsh served as chief business officer of Taligen Therapeutics. He has also held senior business development, finance and operations roles at PathoGenesis Corp. (acquired by Chiron Corporation), AllScripts Healthcare Solutions, EXACT Sciences and Inotek Pharmaceuticals.

Venari Resources LLC [DALLAS and HOUSTON] announced the appointment of David R. Looney as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Looney joins Venari from Common Resources, where he held the position of Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Common Resources, Mr. Looney served in several senior financial officer roles with Goodrich Petroleum Corporation, EPL Oil & Gas, Inc. and EOG Resources. Mr. Looney began his career in the banking industry, specializing in the financing of various E&P and other energy businesses. His more than 35 year career in finance also includes positions at Chase, Toronto Dominion and Koch Industries.

Principal Financial Group [DES MOINES, Iowa] announced that Terry Lillis, executive vice president and chief financial officer, has announced his intent to retire before the end of first quarter 2017, after a 35-year career at The Principal. Lillis joined The Principal in 1982 as an actuarial student. He held various senior actuarial and management roles through 2000 when he was named chief financial officer – Retirement & Investor Services. He was promoted to senior vice president and chief financial officer for The Principal in 2008 and to his current position in 2014.

Modustri [GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.] announced it has hired Bill Pugh as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Most recently, Pugh was the founder and CEO of 40-11 Holdings, LLC. Prior to that, he was CFO at Reliant Rehabilitation Holdings, Inc. Additionally, Pugh spent a number of years in transaction advisory roles with Ernst & Young, working on mergers, acquisitions and IPOs.

Core-Mark Holding Company, Inc. [SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA] (NASDAQ: CORE) announced that Stacy Loretz-Congdon, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, has informed the Board of Directors that she intends to retire from the Company at the end of 2016. Core-Mark’s Board of Directors will appoint Christopher Miller, who currently serves as Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, to the Chief Financial Officer position. Christopher Miller has served as Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of Core-Mark since January 2007. Prior to joining Core-Mark, Mr. Miller was employed by Cost Plus World Market, where he served as Vice President and Controller from 2002 until 2007. Prior to his time at Cost Plus, Mr. Miller served as Chief Financial Officer of Echo Outsourcing, now part of The Superior Group, from 2000 to 2002 and in various financial roles at Levi Strauss & Co. from 1996 to 2000.

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. [PHOENIX] (NASDAQ: SFM) announced that Brad Lukow will join the company as chief financial officer. Lukow comes to Sprouts with 25 years of financial executive experience in the consumer retail sector, including six years as chief financial officer at Shoppers Drug Mart, Canada’s leading drug store retailer.

Tonix Pharmaceuticals Holding Corp. [NEW YORK] (NASDAQ: TNXP) has appointed Bradley Saenger as Chief Financial Officer, replacing Acting CFO Jessica Morris. Mr. Saenger joined Tonix in 2014 as Director of Accounting and was promoted to Vice President of Accounting in 2016. Prior to joining Tonix, Mr. Saenger contributed to the financial departments of Shire Pharmaceuticals, Steward Health Care System, Vertex Pharmaceuticals and Alere, Inc.

The San Mateo County Transit District [San Mateo] announced the hiring of Ilia (Eli) Kay as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Kay has 20 years of financial management and accounting experience. Most recently, he served as Chief Financial Officer for Chicago Skyway and Indiana Toll Road Concessions, LLC. In addition Mr. Kay has held the positions of Senior Director Internal Audit and Controller for large companies with global operations over the course of his career.

BioLife Solutions, Inc. [Bothell, WA] announced that Michael Rice, the Company’s President and Chief Executive Officer, was appointed as the Company’s principal financial and accounting officer, following the resignation of Daphne Taylor.

The tranSMART Foundation [WAKEFIELD, MA] announced the appointment of Stephen Johnson as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Treasurer. Prior to joining the tranSMART Foundation team, Johnson had been providing CFO consulting services to various technology companies and organizations. Before his consulting services, he was the CFO at several industry-leading companies, both public and private, including Centra Software (acquired by Saba Software), Managesoft Corporation (acquired by Flexera Software) and Tervela. Earlier in his career, Johnson held a variety of senior financial positions at Avid Technology and Abiomed.

Transnational Group, Inc. [LAS VEGAS] (OTC: TAMG) announced that Martin Katz will retire from his position as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Board member. Chief Operations Officer Israel Gamliel will take over all duties performed by Mr. Katz in the interim. Mr. Katz joined Transnational Group in 2013 when he was appointed as the Company’s CFO and a member of its Board of Directors.

Cachet Financial Solutions [MINNEAPOLIS] (OTCQB: CAFN) has appointed Bryan Meier as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Meier, began his career at Arthur Anderson and has since served in numerous CFO positions from startups to $4 billion corporations. Most recently, Meier was CFO/COO for Recovery Technology Solutions, Inc. Meier was Vice President and CFO for Phoenix Solar, Inc. At Verasun Energy Corporation he served as CFO. Previously, Meier served in various financial executive roles for HM Capital Partners.

Bellerophon Therapeutics, Inc. [WARREN, N.J.] (NASDAQ: BLPH) announced the appointment of Fabian Tenenbaum as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Business Officer. Mr. Tenenbaum joins Bellerophon from Anterios, Inc. where he served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Business Officer from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, Mr. Tenenbaum served as Chief Executive Officer with Syneron Beauty from 2011 to 2014, and Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Syneron Medical from 2007 to 2011. Prior to Syneron Medical, Mr. Tenenbaum was Vice President Americas for Radiancy, Inc., from 2002 to 2006, and Director, Commercial Operations and Corporate Development at Sunlight Medical, Inc. from 1999 to 2002.

Saban Capital Group, Inc. [LOS ANGELES] announced the promotion of Philip Han to Executive Vice President. Han, who has been with SCG since April 2002, most recently served as the company’s Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer. Before joining SCG, Han served as Vice President of Finance and Business Development for EYM Technologies. Prior to that, Han worked as a Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the firm’s Entertainment, Media and Communications practice. Additionally, Han was formerly a Commissioner with the State of California’s Commission for Economic Development.
