Norfolk Southern Corporation [NORFOLK, Va.] (NYSE: NSC) announced that Marta R. Stewart, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Norfolk Southern Corp., intends to retire. Prior to Stewart’s appointment as executive vice president and chief financial officer in 2013, she assumed roles of increasing responsibility in finance and served as vice president accounting and controller, and vice president finance and treasurer.

RealNetworks, Inc. [SEATTLE] (NASDAQ: RNWK) announced the appointment of Cary Baker, as its new Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Baker succeeds Marjorie Thomas, who is leaving RealNetworks. Baker was previously with HEAT Software, Inc. where he served as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to HEAT Software, Inc. he served as Chief Financial Officer at NetMotion Software and held senior roles at Clearwire Corporation, Boost Mobile and Sprint Corporation.

Callaway Golf Company [CARLSBAD, Calif.] (NYSE: ELY) announced that Robert K. Julian has left the Company and that it has appointed Brian P. Lynch, its General Counsel, to the additional role of Interim Chief Financial Officer. candidates in its search for a Chief Financial Officer. Brian Lynch has been with Callaway in various roles for more than 17 years and was named General Counsel in 2012.

Land O’Lakes, Inc. [ARDEN HILLS, Minn.] announced that Bill Pieper has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Pieper joined Land O’Lakes in 2005 as vice president, finance and accounting for Purina and has had progressive roles across the businesses to move into his current role of vice president, chief accounting officer and treasurer. Prior to joining Land O’Lakes, he held senior finance roles at ADC Telecommunications and NRG Energy. He also spent seven years at KPMG earlier in his career.

Marco [ST. CLOUD, MINNESOTA] announced the addition of Chris Pudenz as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and the transition of Jennifer Mrozek from CFO to Executive Vice President of Business Development and Operations. Pudenz was the former Executive Vice President and CFO of ABRA Auto Body & Glass. Prior to ABRA Auto Body & Glass, Pudenz was CFO at Milk Specialties Global. Pudenz’s experience also includes investment banking, public accounting at Price Waterhouse and multiple senior financial leadership roles at ConAgra Foods.

MEDITE Cancer Diagnostics, Inc. [ORLANDO, FL] (OTCQB: MDIT) announced the appointment of Susan Weisman as Chief Financial Officer. Susan Weisman, a Financial Executive focused on operations, financial reporting, treasury management and strategic planning and cost controls during her 30 year career with Mitsui & Co (USA), BankAtlantic Bancorp and various other companies, previous to joining MEDITE Cancer Diagnostics, Inc.

Northwest Federal Credit Union [HERNDON, Va.] hired Joe Hasto as its new Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer. Hasto most recently serviced as EVP/CFO with Elements Financial Federal Credit Union in Indianapolis, Indiana. Prior to that, Hasto’s 23 years of credit union experience included Public Service Credit Union in Denver, Colorado and Wegmans Federal Credit Union in Rochester, New York.

Eight Dragons Co. [MIAMI, FL] (OTC: EDRG) announced the appointment of Martin Schmieg as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Schmieg is a seasoned executive with 35 years of financial and executive-level experience, with much of that time in CFO roles in the global biotech, med-tech and pharmaceutical industries. In 2006, he was CEO of Freedom-2, Inc.

ROSS Companies [BETHESDA, Md.] announced the promotion of Billy J. Edwards to chief financial officer. Edwards had served as the company’s senior controller since January 2016. Prior to joining ROSS, Edwards worked in public accounting with CohnReznick LLP as a member of their Private Enterprise Practice Group.

Highlands Bankshares, Inc. [ABINGDON, Va.] (OTCQX: HLND) announced the appointment of John H. Gray as executive vice president and chief financial officer of both the parent company and its banking subsidiary, Highlands Union Bank. Gray will assume the duties previously held by Jim Edmondson, who recently announced his resignation to pursue a new opportunity. Gray joins Highlands from Yadkin Financial Corporation, where he managed the accounting function as Corporate Controller. He joined Yadkin in 2014. He began his career at First Citizens BancShares, Inc.

Compass Minerals [OVERLAND PARK, Kan.] (NYSE: CMP) announced that its chief financial officer, Patrick “Doug” Linehan, is departing the company. Concurrently, James “Jamie” Standen, vice president, finance and treasurer, has been named interim CFO and treasurer. Standen joined Compass Minerals in 2006 as assistant treasurer and has held positions of increasing responsibility since that time. Prior to joining Compass Minerals, Standen spent six years in various finance roles at Kansas City Southern Railway Company.

AMERI Holdings, Inc. [PRINCETON, N.J.] (OTCQB: AMRH) announced the appointment of Viraj Patel as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Ameri100, Viraj served as the Chief Financial Officer of two technology start-ups and previously served as the Chief Financial Officer for UTStarcom. Viraj started his career with the accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Old Second Bancorp, Inc. [AURORA, Ill.] (NASDAQ: OSBC) announced that Bradley S. Adams will join the Company as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Adams will also serve as the Company’s principal financial officer and principal accounting officer. He most recently served as executive vice president and director of corporate development and strategy for TCF National Bank. Adams began his career with Fifth Third Bancorp where he served as director of investor relations. Subsequently, he held leadership and operating positions as managing director and chief financial officer of W2 Freedom, LLC; and, from 2011 to 2016, as executive managing director of corporate development for Talmer Bancorp, Inc., the position he held before joining TCF Financial Corporation.

Hawkins, Inc. [MINNEAPOLIS] (NASDAQ: HWKN) announced the hiring of Jeffrey P. Oldenkamp to join the Company as Vice President on May 16, 2017. Mr. Oldenkamp will assume the additional roles of Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer after the filing of the Company’s Annual Report on Form 10-K, which is expected in early June of 2017. Kathleen Pepski had previously announced her planned retirement and will remain in the roles of Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer until that time. Mr. Oldenkamp joins Hawkins, Inc. from MTS Systems Corporation, where he served as Chief Financial Officer since January of 2015. Prior to being appointed CFO, Oldenkamp was the Vice President of Finance for the MTS Test business. He has held various financial positions at Nilfisk-Advance, Inc. and Emerson Electric, Inc.

Symphony Talent [NEW YORK] announced the appointments of Carl Calarco as chief financial officer. Calarco currently leads Symphony Talent’s finance, legal and IT teams. His experience includes serving as chief financial officer at technology companies, Qognify and Createthe Group. He also served as divisional chief financial officer at DoubleClick. He started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Kansas City Life Insurance Company [KANSAS CITY, Mo.] announced that Philip A. Williams has been elected to the Board of Directors. Mr. Williams was also elected to serve as Senior Vice President, Finance. He replaces Tracy W. Knapp, who has retored. Mr. Williams joined Kansas City Life in 2002 and has served as Vice President, Securities, since 2003. Mr. Williams had extensive insurance and banking experience prior to joining Kansas City Life and prior experience as Chief Financial Officer in the banking industry.

MTS Systems Corporation [EDEN PRAIRIE, MN] (NASDAQ: MTSC) announced the appointment of Brian Ross, currently MTS Systems Corporate Controller, as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the company. Mr. Ross will replace Jeff Oldenkamp who is resigning. Prior to joining MTS Systems as Corporate Controller in 2014, Mr. Ross was the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Digi International Inc. Earlier in his career, Brian served as Controller at Restore Medical, following a seven year tenure at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Heron Therapeutics, Inc. [SAN DIEGO] (NASDAQ: HRTX) announced the appointment of Robert E. Hoffman as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President, Finance. Prior to joining Heron, Mr. Hoffman served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Innovus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Prior to Innovus Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Mr. Hoffman was Chief Financial Officer of AnaptysBio, Inc., from July 2015 until September 2016. He was part of the founding management team of Arena Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in 1997, ultimately serving as Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer until March 2011, and then again from August 2011 until July 2015. From March 2011 to August 2011, he served as Chief Financial Officer for Polaris Group. Mr. Hoffman is a member of the board of directors of CombiMatrix Corporation, Kura Oncology, Inc., and MabVax Therapeutics Holdings, Inc. He also is a member of the Financial Accounting Standards Board’s Small Business Advisory Committee and is a member of the steering committee of the Association of Bioscience Financial Officers.

Jonah Energy LLC [DENVER] announced that Patrick Welch has been appointed Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Welch most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of JP Energy Partners from November 2013 through its recent merger with American Midstream Partners. Previously, Mr. Welch held Chief Financial Officer roles with Atlantic Power Corporation and a privately-held renewable energy company, and provided consulting services to many upstream and midstream energy companies. Mr. Welch began his career in public accounting with PwC and Deloitte before transitioning to leadership roles with DCP Midstream and Dynegy.

Black Box Corporation [PITTSBURGH] (NASDAQ: BBOX) announced that David J. Russo has joined the Company as its Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Mr. Russo was previously the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for L.B. Foster. Prior to joining L.B. Foster, he was Corporate Controller at Wesco International. Prior to joining Wesco, Mr. Russo held several financial leadership roles for Life Fitness and Bally Manufacturing Corporation. He started his career with Grant Thornton as an Auditor.

ForeverGreen Worldwide Corporation [LINDON, Utah] announced the resignation of Jack Eldridge as CFO.

Mspark [HELENA, AL] appointed Julie Abraham as chief financial officer. She will also join the Mspark senior leadership team. Prior to joining Mspark, Abraham served as chief financial officer at Scan-Optics LLC. She also worked for 17 years at shared mail company ADVO, during which time she held various senior-level roles of increasing responsibility that culminated in senior vice president, chief financial officer and operating committee member.

FlitWays [CULVER CITY, CA] (OTC PINK: FTWS) named Dean Skupen to the newly created role of chief financial officer (CFO).

SentinelOne [PALO ALTO, CA] announced that Bob Parker, former CFO at SnapLogic, will lead the company’s financial, accounting, operations and legal teams. Prior to SnapLogic, Parker worked at NetApp for a decade as vice president of corporate finance.

Northwest Natural Gas Company [PORTLAND, Ore.] (NYSE: NWN) hired Frank Burkhartsmeyer to serve as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer. Burkhartsmeyer comes to NW Natural from Avangrid Renewables where he served as president and CEO. Prior, he was senior vice president of Finance at Iberdrola Renewables US. He also held various director-level positions at PPM Energy, ScottishPower and PacificCorp.
