UK | CFO Moves - week ending 28 November 2014

Tracking CFO Movement Across the United Kingdom.

Flowgroup plc (AIM: FLOW) announced the appointment of Nigel Peter Canham as Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) with effect from 10 December 2014. Nigel will join the Board as an Executive Director. Nigel Canham has worked for Danaher Corporation for the last 12 years. Since 2011 he was Finance Director of Fluke Corporation’s emerging markets group. From 2009 to 2011 Nigel was Finance Director and EU Accounting Director for Gilbarco Veeder‐Root. From 2007 to 2009, Nigel was based in California as Finance Director for Kerr Corporation. From 2002 to 2007 he was Financial Controller of Linx Printing Technologies. Prior to Danaher Nigel held finance positions with several UK companies including Dialight Plc and Strand Lighting and Vinten Broadcast.

John Lewis Partnership plc announced that Loraine Woodhouse is to join the Board of John Lewis Partnership plc on 1 December 2014 as Acting Group Finance Director. The Partnership announced earlier in November 2014 that Helen Weir, the Partnership’s Finance Director, had tendered her resignation with a six month notice period. Helen will step down from the Board on 1 December 2014 and commence gardening leave on 30 January 2015. In the meantime, Helen will conclude and handover various projects related to her role, ensuring a smooth transition. Loraine Woodhouse joined the Partnership in August 2013 after leaving her previous role as Finance Director of fashion retailer Hobbs.

National Express Group PLC announced that further to a previous announcement made in October 2014 the company announced that Jez Maiden, Group Finance Director since 2008, will step down from the Board with effect from 31 December 2014 to join the Board of Croda International Plc as an Executive Director on 1 January 2015. Matthew Ashley, currently interim Group Finance Director, will remain in this role to ensure continuity and an orderly handover until the Board concludes its search for Jez Maiden’s replacement.

Croda International Plc confirms that following its announcement on 10 October 2014, Jez Maiden will join the Company as an Executive Director on 1 January 2015. Jez will succeed Sean Christie as Group Finance Director on 22 January, at which point Sean will step down from the Board. As previously announced, Sean will leave the Company at the end of April 2015.

Accsys Technologies PLC announced the appointment of Sean Christie as Non-Executive Director of the Company. Christie is currently Group Finance Director of Croda International plc. He is a Non-Executive Director of Applied Graphene Materials plc and Eminate Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of The University of Nottingham. Prior to joining Croda in 2006, Sean was Group Finance Director of Northern Foods plc. He also served as a Non-Executive Director of KCOM Group plc until 2007 and of Cherry Valley Farms Limited until its sale in 2010. Sean has been appointed Chair of the Audit Committee.
