UK | CFO Moves - week ending 27 June 2014

Tracking CFO Movement Across the United Kingdom.

Tate & Lyle PLC announced the appointment of Nick Hampton to the position of Chief Financial Officer and to the Board of Tate & Lyle with effect from 1 September 2014. Tim Lodge, Chief Financial Officer since 2008, will continue in his current role and as a Director until 31 August 2014, and will then leave Tate & Lyle after a short transition period. Nick started his career in 1989 with the management consultancy firm, Monitor, where he spent five years. In 1994, Nick joined PepsiCo where he spent a number of years in strategy and planning roles in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. After a period serving in procurement and logistics, in 2002 he was appointed Vice President, Operations for Walkers Snack Foods. In 2004, he was appointed Vice President Operations for PepsiCo UK and Ireland, and in 2005 added the role of Chief Financial Officer for the same area. In 2008, he became Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Europe, a position he held until 2013 when he was appointed PepsiCo’s President West Europe Region and Senior Vice President Commercial, Europe.

PPHE Hotel Group Limited announced that Chen Moravsky, Chief Financial Officer, will also assume the role of Deputy Chief Executive Officer of PPHE Hotel Group with effect from 1 August 2014. Chen will continue to oversee the financial operations of the group.

Tri-Star Resources PLC announced the appointment of Guy Eastaugh as Chief Financial Officer. Guy Edward Eastaugh began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in London, qualifying in 1987. Mr Eastaugh subsequently spent six years in investment banking before moving into industry in 1995. He has held senior positions at Enron Europe Limited, Hanson plc and GKN plc. Most recently, Mr Eastaugh acted as Chief Financial Officer at Invista Real Estate Investment Management Holdings plc.

Havelock Europa PLC (LSE: HVE) announced the appointment of Ciaran Kennedy as Group Finance Director and Company Secretary.

Tarsus Group plc (LSE: TRS) announced the appointment to the Board of Tim Haywood as a non-executive director. Tim will become Chairman of the Audit Committee and be a member of the Remuneration, Nomination and Disclosure Committees. Tim joined Interserve Plc in 2010 as Group Finance Director. He was previously Finance Director of St. Modwen Properties PLC since 2003. Tim will join the Board on 31 July 2014.

Premier Oil plc announced the appointment of Tony Durrant as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Tony joined Premier in June 2005 and has served as Finance Director since that time. Prior to joining Premier, he worked at Lehman Brothers, latterly as Managing Director and Head of the European Natural Resources Group.

Science in Sport plc (AIM: SIS) announced the appointment of Vivienne Sparks to the new role of Finance Director. Vivienne, who will also become Company Secretary, will start at SiS on 3 August 2014 and at the same time join the Company’s Board. Vivienne qualified as an accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1999 before gaining international financial experience in a variety of roles at quoted companies including First Technology plc, BG Group plc and Anite plc. Between 2007 and 2013, Vivienne worked at AIM-quoted Regenersis plc where she became group financial controller in 2011. Vivienne was most recently at Atex Group, a privately held software company where she held the title of EMEA CFO.

Dialight plc announced that it has appointed Fariyal Khanbabi as Group Finance Director with effect from 29 September 2014. Fariyal joins Dialight from Blue Ocean Group, where she has been Chief Financial Officer since 2009. She has over 10 years of experience in senior financial positions, including roles at NYSE and NASDAQ-listed companies. Kevin Higginson, who has been Dialight’s Interim CFO since 21 January 2014, will leave the Group on 21 July 2014, following the announcement of the Group’s Half Year Results. From that date, the senior finance role at Dialight will be assumed by Paul Haworth, Group Financial Controller, pending Fariyal’s appointment on 29 September 2014.
