Tesco PLC announced that further to its previous announcement in July, Alan Stewart will join the Board as Chief Financial Officer with effect from 23 September 2014, rather than the previously announced date of 1 December 2014.

Pennant International Group plc announced the appointment of Philip Walker as a director and its new Chief Financial Officer, with effect from Monday 3 November 2014. Philip Henry Walker qualified as a chartered accountant in 2005 with Grant Thornton where he worked for eight years, principally in the Corporate Finance department. Following this Philip joined Barclays Bank as a Relationship Director within Barclays Corporate.

Laird PLC announced that Jonathan Silver will be stepping down as Chief Financial Officer at the Annual General Meeting to be held on 8 May 2015, after nearly 29 years with the Company and 21 years as a Director.

IMI plc announced that Daniel Shook will be appointed as Finance Director to succeed Douglas Hurt who has decided to retire from the Company. Daniel will join IMI and the IMI Board with effect from 1 January 2015 as Finance Director designate. Douglas will remain responsible for financial reporting for 2014. To ensure an orderly handover of finance responsibilities Daniel will succeed Douglas as Finance Director early in 2015. Douglas will step down from the Board and retire from IMI at the AGM on 7 May 2015. Daniel is currently Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Executive Board at Borealis AG. Prior to joining Borealis in 2007, he spent 12 years at The BOC Group plc where he served in a number of senior finance and management roles including Finance Director of the Industrial & Special Products division and Group Treasurer.

Active Energy Group Plc (AIM: AEG) announced the appointment of Brian Evans-Jones to the Board as Finance Director, commencing on 01 October 2014. Brian Evans-Jones has acted as a consultant to, officer of, and investor in, a number of businesses primarily in the food, manufacturing and property sectors, including a number of turn-around situations and early stage businesses. These have included Harsco Inc., Celtic Oriental, Boditronics, Ty Nant Spring Water and Seconds Ahead.

Sirius Minerals Plc (AIM: SXX) announced the appointment of Rachel Rhodes as Chief Financial Officer, commencing on 6 October 2014. Rachel Rhodes has over fifteen years of experience in the mining sector, including with Anglo American Plc and, most recently, serving as Chief Financial Officer and a director of London Mining PLC from September 2008 until November 2013. Rachel is a non-executive director and audit committee chairman of Anglo Pacific Group plc.
