Rather surprisingly there is little confidence that the changes in the banking regulatory environment will benefit treasurers. They are also increasingly concerned over the credit worthiness of the banks. In addition there is perhaps less treasurer focus on commodity risk management and supporting the development of the business in emerging markets than one would expect - perhaps a combination of limited time given the cash and funding challenge and the complexity of the task.
