Corporate treasurers the world over agree that their profession has grown in importance and visibility since the financial crisis and Great Recession. Along with the increased exposure, however, come more challenges and responsibilities.

For one thing, the strategic role of treasury has become more critical with the increased market volatility and uncertainty.
