Aimed at entrepreneurs and technology startups around the world, UBS is on the hunt for innovative and disruptive technologies that will support the transformation of the banking industry.
UBS has highlighted four key areas they are focusing on for the competition: banking efficiency, client experience, secure banking and delivering a superior financial product.
Rewards for the winning entrants include cash prizes worth over $300,000 and over 500 hours of dedicated coaching from UBS mentors and partners.
Level39 is delighted to be involved in this competition – we will be hosting the UK Regional Final during November 5 and 6 where our head Eric Van der Kleij will be among the judges for this portion of the competition.
Van der Kleij says: “If FinTech is truly about innovation in financial services, then it can come from a giant bank or a startup. Level39 working closely with world-leading financial organisations such as UBS reinforces the fact that even the giants of the industry are truly embracing reinvigoration and transformation.
The Future of Finance Challenge ethos, bringing disruptive technologists with ground-breaking ideas and putting them together with experts in financial services, demonstrates not only the forward-thinking nature of UBS but the importance of the FinTech start-up and innovator community in the wider industry.”
