OpenText (TSX: OTC) announced that John Doolittle has joined OpenText as its CFO. Paul McFeeters will remain with the company through the end of September to complete the transition.
Ceres Global Ag Corp. (TSX: CRP) announced that Mark Kucala will become the Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company, replacing Amy Stephenson. Mrs. Stephenson will take on a new role as Manager of Special Projects for the Company.
Pivotal Therapeutics Inc. (CSE: PVO) announced the appointment of Prakash Gowd as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Gowd succeeds Eugene Bortoluzzi, who will remain Pivotal’s Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Gowd joins Pivotal from a leading Canadian investment bank, where he served as a Managing Director in the firm’s healthcare investment banking unit. Mr. Gowd has been the Audit Chair and a director of a public drug developer and also as the CEO of a private drug discovery company.
Pershimco Resources Inc. (TSX-V: PRO) announced the appointment of Pierre Monet as Vice-President Finance and Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Mr. Monet was President and Chief Executive Officer of Malaga Inc., Vice-President Finance, Administration and Treasurer of Iron Ore Company of Canada (IOC) and Vice-President Finance of Produits Forestiers Alliance Inc.
Canadian Platinum Corp. announced the appointment of Karen Frisky to the position of Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”). Previously, Ms. Frisky served as Director of Finance at Great Western Minerals Group Ltd. Prior to entering the mining industry, Ms. Frisky worked in public practice before moving to private industry where she worked in senior accounting positions in the non-profit, health, manufacturing and construction sectors. Karen also currently acts as CFO for Star Minerals Group Ltd. Ms. Frisky is replacing Randy Ludwar, the current CFO, who is retiring.
