Canada | CFO Moves – week ending October 10, 2014

Enbridge Inc. (TSX, NYSE: ENB) announced John Whelen is appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer effective October 15, 2014. J. Richard Bird will remain Executive Vice President, Corporate Development until his retirement on December 31, 2014. Mr. Whelen has held roles of increasing responsibility over 22 years at Enbridge, including executive positions in treasury, risk management, corporate planning and development, and financial reporting. He served most recently as Senior Vice President, Finance and Senior Vice President, Corporate Development. He also served as the chief financial officer and then as president of the Enbridge Income Fund. In June 2014, Enbridge announced Mr. Bird’s planned retirement by the end of 2014 and the split of his responsibilities into two separate roles of chief financial officer and chief development officer.

Amarillo Gold Corp. (TSX-V: AGC) announced that Scott Eldridge has joined the Company as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary. Eldridge is a co-founder of Euroscandic International Group Inc. Eldridge also currently serves as President & CEO of Euroscandic, a position he has held for the last 7 years. Eldridge replaces Waldemar Opalka as CFO.

Contact Exploration Inc. announced the appointment of Chad Kalmakoff as Vice President, Finance & Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Kalmakoff was most recently Vice President, Finance and CFO with Corinthian Exploration Corp., acquired by Legacy Oil + Gas Inc. earlier in 2014. Prior thereto, Mr. Kalmakoff was Vice President, Finance and CFO at Pace Oil & Gas Ltd. Prior to his role at Pace Oil & Gas Ltd., Mr. Kalmakoff held the Vice President, Finance and Financial Controller positions at Midnight Oil Exploration Ltd. and its predecessor companies after receiving his Chartered Accountant designation while at KPMG LLP. Mr. Kalmanoff replaces outgoing CFO Ian Thomson, who has been with Contact since January 2008.
