Canada | CFO Moves – week ending May 9, 2014

Hudson’s Bay Company (TSX: HBC) announced that Paul V. Beesley is joining the Company as Chief Financial Officer, effective June 2014. From 2000 to 2014, he served in a number of executive roles with Empire Company Limited, including Chief Corporate Development Officer of the Sobeys Inc. unit and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Empire. Prior to Empire, Mr. Beesley was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of The Globe and Mail Company, and previously held finance, operational and strategic planning positions with Delrina Corporation, Suncor Energy and Varity Corporation.

Atlanta Gold Inc. (TSX-V: ATG) announced that Peili Miao has been appointed interim Chief Financial Officer of the Company, succeeding Nancy Porkola-Ainsworth, who had served as interim Chief Financial Officer.

DXStorm.Com Inc. (TSX-V: DXX) announced that John A. Ryan has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Zoran Popovic, the former Chief Financial Officer, continues as the President, Chief Executive Officer and Corporate Secretary of the Company.

Macro Enterprises Inc. (TSX-V: MCR) advised that T. Jerrold Jackson, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Corporate Secretary, has decided to retire from his position with the Company effective July 1, 2014.

Hunter Bay Minerals plc (TSX-V: HBY) announced that Natasha Tsai has been appointment Chief Financial Officer. William Payne stepped down his position as Chief Financial Officer on Hunter Bay’s filing of the audited financial statements for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2013. Ms. Tsai is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Redtail Metals Corp. and also provides consulting services for Santacruz Silver Mining Ltd., Inca One Resources Corp., Pacific Hunt Energy Corp., and Cornerstone Metals Inc. She was previously the Chief Financial Officer of Arriba Resources Inc. and the Corporate Controller of Dejour Energy Inc., a junior oil and gas company.
