Braemar Shipping Services PLC announced Martin Beer, Braemar’s Group Finance Director, has informed the Board that he wishes to step down as a Director of Braemar in the Summer of 2015. Martin will be succeeded by Louise Evans who was formerly Group Finance Director of Williams Grand Prix Holdings plc – the Frankfurt-listed parent company of the Williams Formula 1 Team and Williams Advanced Engineering business.
Hansard Global plc announced that Vince Watkins will be resigning from his position of Chief Financial Officer and retiring from the Company after 20 years’ service. Tim Davies joined Hansard Global as Chief Financial Officer, assuming responsibility for Finance, Actuarial, Legal and Company Secretarial functions. Vince will remain with the Company until 30 June in order to oversee a period of transition. Tim was most recently with HSBC Life Europe, Dublin, where he spent the last 8 years as Managing Director and as Finance Director for 2 years prior to that. Prior to this he was Senior Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers in both Dublin and Boston.
KCOM Group PLC announced the appointment of Liz Barber as a Non-Executive Director of the Board. Liz is Group Director of Finance for Kelda Group, having joined the business in 2010. She was previously with Ernst & Young where she was made a partner in 2001 and was the senior partner for audit for the north of England. On appointment, Liz will become a member of the Audit, Remuneration and Nomination committees.
