Rami Ziv, Arad's VP International Sales & Marketing, will address a session on fostering a culture of innovation in the water sector, to take place on Wednesday, November 13, at 2.35 p.m.
The presentation, entitled "Latest Innovations in Smart Water Metering to Benefit Utilities Worldwide," will focus on how water utilities can achieve financial and operational benefits while increasing customer satisfaction.
Arad will also demonstrate new smartphone and Web applications that allow consumers to track water consumption wherever they are and get real-time alerts on water leaks. The smartphone app, available in iPhone and Android versions, offers detailed consumption graphs, real-time leak alerts and consumption forecasts.
A new Web application, which can be integrated into the utility's Web site or a dedicated portal, will also be showcase by Arad. The application sends alerts and predictions for improved water conservation. It features consumption forecasts, leak and "away from home" alerts, a smart messaging system with customer support, and SMS and email notifications.
"Customer care is becoming a major issue for utilities and water companies," said Ziv. "By providing users with full transparency, utilities can allow consumers to control their bills and this will improve customer satisfaction."
Arad Group is also one of the sponsors of the Water 2013 conference, which brings together the UK's water industry's senior water experts.
