Tracking CFO Movement Across Canada.

CommutAir [NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio] announced that it had named Sean Frick as its new Chief Financial Officer. He will replace Missy Kelsen, who will retire in the first Quarter of 2017. Frick comes to CommutAir after serving at ATA Airlines, World Airways and North American Airlines. Frick also led the Airline Marketing team at Bombardier Aerospace.

TaskUs [SANTA MONICA, Calif.] announced the hiring of Chief Financial Officer Balaji Sekar. Previously, Sekar held senior finance leadership roles at Sutherland Global Services, Sutherland Healthcare Solutions, and most recently at PatientSafe Solutions.

Velocify [LOS ANGELES] has hired Kyle Messman as chief financial officer. Messman most recently served as the CFO at Telogis, which sold to Verizon in August of this year. Messman previously handled corporate financial planning for a major semiconductor manufacturer. Messman has also spent several years as an investment banker.

Arcadia Biosciences, Inc. [DAVIS, Calif.] (NASDAQ: RKDA) announced that Matthew T. Plavan will join the company’s executive team as chief financial officer. Most recently, Plavan served in multiple executive capacities, including CFO, COO and CEO with Cesca Therapeutics, Inc. Prior to Cesca, Plavan served as CFO with venture and private equity-backed technology companies, including Strion Air, Inc. and Reason, Inc. He also held executive finance positions with McKesson Corporation and audit and advisory management positions with Ernst & Young.

Immersion Corp. [SAN JOSE, Calif.] (NASDAQ: IMMR) announced the appointment of Nancy Erba as Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Erba was most recently Vice President of Finance, Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis at Seagate. During her 22-year tenure with Seagate, Ms. Erba held Vice President positions in Corporate Development, Business Operations and Planning, and Finance. Prior to joining Seagate, she was a Treasury Analyst at Borland International.

iCapital Network [NEW YORK] announced that Tom Iacono joins the firm as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Iacono joins iCapital from General Electric where he spent 12 years in key financial leadership and transaction advisory roles in the GE Energy Financial Services, GE Corporate Aircraft and GE Capital Aviation Services divisions. Previously Mr. Iacono was CFO of Fortress Transportation and Infrastructure Fund and a Senior Manager at Deloitte.

EnteroMedics Inc. [ST. PAUL, Minn.] (NASDAQ: ETRM) announced the appointment of Scott Youngstrom as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer. Scott will succeed Greg Lea, EnteroMedics’ current Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer, who will be retiring from the Company. Mr. Youngstrom most recently served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, Finance at Galil Medical. Prior to Galil Medical, from 2009-2014, Mr. Youngstrom served as Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Financial Officer at DGIMED Ortho, Inc. Mr. Youngstrom has previously served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, Finance with Anulex Technologies, Enpath Medical, Compex Technologies, Acist Medical Systems, and Cardiotronics. Mr. Youngstrom serves on the Board of Directors of InnoVision, Inc.

Allena Pharmaceuticals, Inc. [NEWTON, Mass.] announced that Edward Wholihan has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Wholihan most recently served as CFO of Medical Specialties Distributors. Prior to MSD, he was the CFO of Generation Health. He also served as CFO and Vice President of Business Development for Inovise Medical. Early in his career, he spent seven years with McKinsey & Company.

BETA Healthcare Group [ALAMO, Calif.] announced that Daniel J. Sevilla, Jr. has been named Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer. Sevilla most recently served as Chief Financial Officer for the State Compensation Insurance Fund. He also served as Vice President of Financial & Operational Planning & Analysis for CSAA, as well as Senior Vice President of Financial Services and Operations for Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company.

DJO Global, Inc. [SAN DIEGO] announced the appointment of Mike Eklund as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Eklund joins DJO Global from Dell where he last served as the Senior Vice President, Dell / EMC Value Creation and Integration Management Office. Prior to his latest role, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Dell’s Client Solutions Business Unit and Global Operations organization. Previously, Mr. Eklund served as Vice President of Strategy, Business Planning and Operations for Dell’s Enterprise Solutions Group. Mr. Eklund began his career in public accounting as a staff accountant in tax and audit, followed by a two year stint in the oil and gas industry.

PaxVax, Inc. [REDWOOD CITY, Calif.] announced the appointment of Philip K. Moody as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Moody joins PaxVax from BTG PLC, where he served as the Chief Financial Officer for the North American sector. Prior to this role, Mr. Moody was Founder, Board Member and Chief Executive Officer for DOLORANA, Inc. Mr. Moody has also held senior finance roles in a number of public and private companies, including Chiron, where served as Vice President, Finance and Operations.

LifePoint Health, Inc. [BRENTWOOD, Tenn.] (NASDAQ: LPNT) announced the appointment of Michael S. Coggin as Chief Financial Officer. Coggin, who has served as Chief Accounting Officer of the Company since 2008, succeeds Leif Murphy, currently Chief Financial Officer, who is leaving the Company to pursue another opportunity. Michael S. Coggin has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer for LifePoint since December 2008. Mike previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Specialty Care Services Group. Prior to that, he was a senior vice president in the finance, accounting and internal audit groups of Renal Care Group, Inc. from April 2004 until its acquisition by Fresenius Medical Care AG & Co. KGaA in March 2006. He began his professional career as an auditor with KPMG Peat Marwick.

Hudson Technologies, Inc. [PEARL RIVER, N.Y.] (NASDAQ: HDSN) announced the appointment of Nat Krishnamurti as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Krishnamurti was previously employed at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Early in his industry experience, over an 11-year tenure, Mr. Krishnamurti held positions of increasing responsibility, including VP, Corporate Finance and Chief Accounting Officer, at inVentiv Heath, Inc. Subsequently, Mr. Krishnamurti served as Chief Financial Officer of two smaller, publicly-traded companies, Applied Minerals, Inc. and most recently at Interpace Diagnostics Group, Inc.

Questex [NEWTON, MA] announced the appointment of Francis B. Barker as chief financial officer. Barker’s previous corporate leadership positons include chief financial officer at Alta Colleges Inc., co-founder of Information Services Group and senior vice president for strategy & corporate development at Dex Media. He continues as a board member at Allazo Health. Barker’s investing roles have included managing director for media and information investments at The Carlyle Group. Barker began his career as an investment banker in the media and information sector at Morgan Stanley.

Skorpios Technologies, Inc. [ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.] announced the addition of Brian R. Griffiths as chief financial officer. Most recently, Griffiths was a senior managing director at Guggenheim Partners, working with companies across the technology industry. Prior to that, he was a managing director at Credit Suisse in New York and London.

Xerox [NORWALK, Conn.] (NYSE: XRX) announced that Brian Webb-Walsh will serve as chief financial officer of Conduent Incorporated. Webb-Walsh is currently the CFO for Xerox Services. Previously he led the finance function for the company’s government healthcare and health enterprise businesses.

Ferro Corporation [Mayfield Heights, Ohio] announced the appointment of Benjamin Schlater as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Schlater has served as the Company’s Vice President, Corporate Development and Strategy since September 2015. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Schlater was Treasurer and head of corporate development, strategic and financial planning and risk management at Veyance Technologies from August 2007 to May 2015. Prior to Veyance, Mr. Schlater was a Managing Director at FTI Consulting, and prior to FTI Consulting, Mr. Schlater was a manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Tower International, Inc. [LIVONIA, Mich.] (NYSE: TOWR) announced that Jeffrey Kersten will succeed James Gouin as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Gouin has been appointed as President, and as CEO effective January 1, 2017. Mr. Kersten, joined Tower in 1997. He has been the Company’s Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller since 2007; in 2014, he added responsibility for Business Development. Prior to joining Tower, Mr. Kersten worked seven years at Arthur Andersen.
