Yext announced that Steve Cakebread is joining the Yext team as Chief Financial Officer. Cakebread was Chief Financial Officer of Salesforce.com from 2002 to 2009, in addition to serving as the President and Chief Strategy Officer. More recently Cakebread served as Chief Financial Officer of Pandora Media Inc. He previously held senior management roles at Autodesk, Silicon Graphics World Trade, and Hewlett Packard.

J. C. Penney Company, Inc. (NYSE: JCP) announced that B. Craig Owens has been elected to its Board of Directors. Mr. Owens recently retired from his post as chief financial officer and chief administrative officer of Campbell Soup Company. Prior to joining Campbell Soup Company, Mr. Owens was executive vice president and CFO of the Delhaize Group. Earlier in his career, he held leadership and senior financial positions with The Coca-Cola Company and Coca-Cola bottlers.

Post Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: POST) announced that Robert V. Vitale has been named President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Vitale has served as Post’s Chief Financial Officer since its formation in October 2011. Mr. Vitale has also been named to Post’s Board of Directors.

Avvo, Inc. announced the appointment of Monica Williams as Chief Financial Officer. Monica most recently served as Vice President of Finance & Operations and Chief Financial Officer at Allrecipes.com for seven years. She previously held several senior finance roles at Getty Images, including positions in financial planning, financial analysis, and treasury.

Theravance, Inc. (NASDAQ: THRX) announced the appointment of Eric d’Esparbes as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Most recently Mr. d’Esparbes served as the Chief Financial Officer of Joule Unlimited. Prior to Joule Unlimited, Mr. d’Esparbes was the Vice President, Finance of AEI. Mr. d’Esparbes has also served in senior financial management roles at Meiya Power Company Limited (a former subsidiary of PSEG Global) and Hydro-Québec International.

Behringer Harvard Opportunity REIT I, Inc. announced that Lisa Ross has been elected as chief financial officer. Ross will continue to serve as senior vice president and treasurer, positions that she has held since October 2013 and January 2012, respectively. Ross has been the company’s principal accounting officer since January 2012. She began her tenure with the company in January 2011 as senior controller and director of financial reporting. Before joining Behringer, Ross served from 2006 to 2010 as the controller for a private real estate development project and managed the accounting and reporting for a private family wealth office with investments in real estate, oil and gas, and other financial investments. From 1996 to 2005, Ross was partnership controller for The Hampstead Group. From 1989 to 1995, Ross served in multiple capacities for McNeil Real Estate Management, including partnership controller.

WealthEngine announced the appointment of Dawn Orr as Chief Financial Officer. Dawn has been a member of senior and executive management at companies such as SAGA Software, Legent Corporation and BRIDGEWERX and as a Senior Manager with KPMG.

Mondelez International (NASDAQ: MDLZ) announced that Brian Gladden is joining the company as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective Dec. 1. He will succeed David Brearton who will assume a new role that focuses primarily on the establishment and launch of the joint venture with D.E Master Blenders 1753 to form Jacobs Douwe Egberts. Brearton will remain CFO through Dec. 1. Gladden’s first day at Mondelez International will be October 13, and he will work closely with Brearton to ensure a smooth transition. Most recently, Gladden was Senior Vice President and CFO of Dell, Inc. Previously, he was the president and CEO of SABIC Innovative Plastics, the successor company to General Electric Company’s Plastics business, after spending almost 20 years in senior financial and operational positions at GE. Brearton will assume his new position as EVP, Strategic Initiatives on Dec. 1. Brearton has been CFO of Mondelez International since it was launched in 2012. He was named CFO of Kraft Foods Inc. the prior year and helped to lead its successful division into two separate companies. Brearton began his career with the company in 1984 in his native Canada. Before being named CFO, he held a series of senior finance roles, including SVP, Finance at Kraft Foods International, and Corporate Controller.

Ultrasolar Technology announced the appointment of Lali Nathan as the CFO. Ms. Nathan brings experience as an Associate Director at Barclays Capital (London/Singapore/Mumbai), VP Finance at Calpine, CFO/VP Finance at US Biodiesel, Oski Energy, Simbol, and recently in the Solar Energy Space, Meridian Energy.

Freeman announced that Julio Ramirez has been named executive vice president and chief financial officer of the company. Prior to joining Freeman, Ramirez was vice president and treasurer, global tax and strategic planning at Molson Coors Brewing Company. He was a former certified public accountant and served as an Audit and Consulting Partner with KPMG.

VeriStor Systems announced that Bob Necessary has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer. He assumes the new role in addition to his current position as VeriStor Capital’s President and CEO. Necessary joined VeriStor in 2010 and has led the inception of VeriStor Capital as the division’s President and CEO. Prior to his positions at VeriStor, Necessary was President of Presidio Technology Capital following previous positions as Vice President of Finance and sales management for the company. Necessary also served in financial management roles for Memorex and in corporate banking for what is now Bank of America.

8×8, Inc. (NASDAQ: EGHT) announced the appointment of Mary Ellen Genovese as Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Genovese replaces Dan Weirich who announced he will be stepping down after ten years of service to accept a position at a privately held company with a cloud service in the big data space. Mr. Weirich will remain in his role through Friday, October 31, 2014. Thereafter, he will continue as an employee with the Company in an advisory capacity through December 31, 2014 to facilitate a smooth transition. Ms. Genovese most recently served as 8×8’s Senior Vice President of Human Resources and, prior to that, was a consultant to the Company and an advisor to the Company’s Board of Directors Compensation Committee. Prior to joining 8×8, from 2008 to 2011, Ms. Genovese served as a consultant to a Fortune 50 global security. From 2004 through 2006, she was the CFO of Savi Technology. Prior to Savi, from 2000 to 2004, Ms. Genovese was Chief Financial Officer at Trimble Navigation. Between 1992 and 2000, Ms. Genovese worked at Trimble in a succession of other increasingly responsible executive positions, including vice president of finance, corporate controller, business unit controller and controller of manufacturing operations.

Aasonn, LLC announced that John Ciardiello has been named Chief Financial Officer. Previously John was CFO of Alma Lasers, Ltd. and has held senior financial roles with CorSolutions Medical, Inc. and Navigant Consulting.

Oiltanking Partners, L.P. (NYSE: OILT) announced that Donna Y. Hymel has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer of the Partnership’s general partner. Ms. Hymel previously served as Controller and principal accounting officer of the Partnership’s general partner since March 2011. She has also served as Controller of Oiltanking Holding Americas, Inc. (“OTA”) since January 2001. Mrs. Hymel joined OTA in April of 1995 as the Controller for Oiltanking Houston L.P. Since that time, she has served as Corporate Secretary and Treasurer for various OTA and Partnership entities. Prior to joining OTA, she worked at BDO USA, LLP from January 1988 to April 1995 as an audit manager. Jonathan Z. Ackerman has resigned as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

Logicalis announced the appointment of Rich Pirrotta to the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in the United States.

Lumos Networks Corp. (NASDAQ: LMOS) announced that it has appointed Johan G. Broekhuysen, currently Interim Chief Financial Officer, Chief Accounting Officer and Corporate Controller, to serve as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. He remains the Company’s Chief Accounting Officer. Mr. Broekhuysen joined the Company in November 2012 as Vice President and Corporate Controller and was appointed Chief Accounting Officer in January 2014 and interim Chief Financial Officer in March 2014. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Broekhuysen was Senior Vice President, Assistant Treasurer and Corporate Controller of GlobalLogic, Inc., from 2009 to January 2012 and Vice President and Corporate Controller of GlobalLogic, Inc. from 2008 to 2009. Prior to joining GlobalLogic, Inc., Mr. Broekhuysen was Director, Financial Reporting and Consolidation of AOL, LLC, from 2007 to 2008 and Director, Service Revenue Accounting of AOL, LLC from 2004 to 2007.

B/E Aerospace, Inc. (NASDAQ: BEAV) announced the appointments of Joseph T. Lower as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of B/E Aerospace, Inc. and Michael F. Senft as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of KLX Inc. Mr. Lower will initially join B/E Aerospace as Vice President, Finance and be appointed Vice President and Chief Financial Officer upon the effectiveness of the separation of KLX Inc. from B/E Aerospace, Inc. Mr. Lower most recently was Vice President of Business Development and Strategy for The Boeing Company, where he spent the last twelve years. Prior to joining Boeing in 2002, among other finance positions, Mr. Lower spent 6 years with Credit Suisse in various investment banking roles including positions in Mergers and Acquisitions, and Corporate Finance. Mr. Lower will be joining B/E Aerospace on November 1, 2014. Mr. Senft most recently was a Managing Director of Moelis & Company. He has been a member of the B/E Aerospace, Inc. Board of Directors since February 2012, a position he will cease to serve on the effective date of the separation of KLX Inc. from B/E Aerospace, Inc. Mr. Senft has over 30 years of experience as an investment banker, including prior roles as Global Head of Leveraged Finance at CIBC, and Global Co-Head of Leveraged Finance at Merrill Lynch. Mr. Senft has served on the Board of Directors of Moly Mines Ltd. and he served on the Board of Directors of Del Monte Foods.

Solazyme, Inc. (NASDAQ: SZYM) announced that former E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company (DuPont) CFO Gary Pfeiffer has joined the Solazyme Board of Directors. Mr. Pfeiffer has also joined Solazyme’s Audit Committee.

Asure Software (NASDAQ: ASUR) announced that Brad Wolfe has been named as the company’s CFO. Most recently, Wolfe spent most of the last 14 years with DCI Group and their related entities, a private equity and investment organization, where he served in consulting, office and executive finance and operational goals for the firm’s subsidiary and portfolio companies to promote their growth and profitability. Before that, he was CFO and EVP at AON Corporation. Asure’s previous CFO, Jennifer Crow, left in June.

Sucampo Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCMP) announced that Cary J. Claiborne, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), is leaving Sucampo to pursue other interests. Mr. Claiborne will continue in his current role through November 7, 2014.

Doral Financial Corporation appointed Nancy Reinhard as Acting Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Reinhard also remains the Principal Accounting Officer of the Company. Ms. Reinhard initially joined the Company as Principal Accounting Officer in July 2012. Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Reinhard served as the Chief Accounting Officer of ING Bank, FSB from 2010 to June 2012 and was the Controller of ING Bank, FSB from 2007 to 2010. During 2007 Ms. Reinhard was Global Controller of the Equipment Services group of General Electric, and during 2006 and 2007 she was Controller of the Trailer Fleet Services and Modular Space group of General Electric. Ms. Reinhard served in various positions from 1995 to 2006 with Bank of America, N.A. (formerly MBNA America Bank, NA), including Financial Reporting Manager (2004 to 2006), Chief Accounting Officer of MBNA Spain (2002 to 2004), Regulatory Reporting Manager (2002) and SEC Reporting Manager (1996 to 2002). David E. Hooston, the Chief Financial Officer of the Company, was placed on paid administrative leave to attend to personal family issues unrelated to his functions as Chief Financial Officer or the financial matters of the Company.

Myriad Genetics, Inc. (NASDAQ: MYGN) announced the appointment of R. Bryan Riggsbee as executive vice president, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer. Jim Evans will continue in his role as Chief Financial Officer through the transition to Mr. Riggsbee. Mr. Riggsbee most recently served as the senior vice president, Corporate Finance at Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings. Previously, he served in various finance positions of increasing responsibility at General Electric Company. Mr. Riggsbee began his career in the audit division of KPMG.

Sizmek Inc. (NASDAQ: SZMK) announced that it has appointed Ken Saunders as Chief Financial Officer. Saunders is currently a Partner at Black Dragon Capital, where he serves as CFO of two portfolio companies he helped establish: Fortress Risk Management and Payveris. Prior to those roles, he was CFO of BeyondTrust Software. Saunders joined BeyondTrust from Bazaarvoice, Inc. (NASDAQ: BV), where he became the company’s first CFO. Earlier in his career as CFO, Saunders helped lead Peregrine Systems, Inc., and he was also instrumental at Open Solutions, Inc. Saunders’ longest tenure was with a series of companies that ultimately merged into FICO, where he was CFO.
