Hecla Mining Company [COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho] (NYSE: HL) announced that Lindsay Hall has accepted the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company, following the retirement of James Sabala. Recently, Lindsay was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Goldcorp Inc. and prior to that held senior financial positions at Duke Energy Corporation.
Calamos Investments [NAPERVILLE, Ill.] has appointed Thomas Herman as Chief Financial Officer. Herman joins Calamos from Harris Associates, where he was CFO and Treasurer for the past six years. Previously, from 2004 to 2010, he was SVP, CFO and Treasurer at Ariel Investments.
