FPX [DALLAS, Texas] announced that Todd Boney has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Boney has served as CFO for two other software companies, Strata Decision Technology and PreVisor, as well as Magnequench International, Inc. Most recently, Mr. Boney founded a consulting business focused on M&A integration for companies owned by private equity firms.

Hilltop Holdings Inc. [DALLAS] (NYSE: HTH) announced the appointment of William B. Furr as chief financial officer. Darren Parmenter, Hilltop’s current principal financial officer, will move to the new role of chief administrative officer for Hilltop Holdings. Furr joins Hilltop from Cleveland-based KeyCorp, where he served as executive vice president, community bank CFO. Prior to his tenure at KeyCorp, Furr served in various financial leadership roles at Regions Financial Corporation including business lines CFO and consumer services CFO. Previously, he held several roles with Bank of America Corporation.

Academic Partnerships [DALLAS] announced the appointment of Jeff Dawson to Chief Financial Officer. Dawson comes to AP after more than eight years with Match Group where he held multiple leadership positions. His experience also includes ten years of progressive leadership experience with American Airlines, Airband Communications, and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Vanguard Charitable [VALLEY FORGE, Pa.] announced that Kevin Cavanaugh will join the organization as chief financial officer. Mr. Cavanaugh, who most recently served as CFO and vice president of finance and administration at the Chemical Heritage Foundation. Following nearly 20 years in the private sector, during which he served in various senior financial positions at DuPont and Cephalon, Mr. Cavanaugh transitioned to similar roles in the nonprofit industry, specifically at The Reinvestment Fund, and Clean Energy Group.

Mity Inc. [OREM, Utah] announced the appointment of Craig Judd as Chief Financial Officer. Judd most recently served as the CFO for Blendtec. Additionally, Craig has served in general management and operations leadership roles including Materials Director at McDonnell Douglas and President at Zero Corporation.

Gilead Sciences, Inc. [FOSTER CITY, Calif.] (NASDAQ: GILD) announced that Kelly A. Kramer has been appointed to the company’s Board of Directors and Audit Committee. Ms. Kramer is currently Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Cisco Systems, Inc. She previously served for 20 years in senior finance positions at General Electric, including as Chief Financial Officer of GE Healthcare’s Healthcare Systems Business.


Salary.com [WELLESLEY, MA] announced that Anne Huemme has joined the company as chief financial officer. Huemme most recently held the role of COO and CFO of Lavastorm. Huemme also served as CFO of Kaseya. She previously held the role of CFO at WebLayers, Inc. In addition, Huemme was CFO at companies including Ultimus, Inc., Ardence, Inc, Optical Solutions, Café Odyssey, Inc. and Rare Hospitality.

ESO Solutions, Inc. [AUSTIN, Texas] announced the hiring of Jennifer Mabe as Chief Financial Officer. She was most recently Chief Financial Officer at DataTrak International. She also held positions as Vice President of Finance and Quality Assurance and as International Director of Quality Assurance while at DataTrak.

Orthopaedic Institute for Children [LOS ANGELES] announced that Diemlan “Lannie” Tonnu has been appointed chief financial officer. Tonnu comes to OIC from Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) where she served the past 25 years as senior vice president and chief financial officer.

Varian Medical Systems, Inc. [PALO ALTO, Calif.] (NYSE: VAR) announced that Judy Bruner, retired Executive Vice President, Administration and Chief Financial Officer of SanDisk Corporation, has been appointed to the Varian Board of Directors. Bruner served as the chief financial officer for SanDisk from 2004 to this year. She also served as senior vice president and chief financial officer for Palm, Inc. from 1999 to 2004. She has held prior management positions in finance and administration with 3Com Corporation, Ridge Computers, Inc. and Hewlett Packard Company.

Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, Inc. [LAVAL, Quebec] (NYSE: VRX) (TSX: VRX) announced that Paul S. Herendeen has been appointed Executive Vice President, Finance and will take over the role of Chief Financial Officer from Robert L. Rosiello. Mr. Rosiello will remain at Valeant as Executive Vice President, Corporate Development and Strategy. Prior to joining Valeant, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Zoetis Inc. for two years. From 2005 to 2013 and from 1998 to 2001, Mr. Herendeen served as CFO at Warner Chilcott. He rejoined Warner Chilcott after four years as EVP and CFO of MedPointe, where he served as CFO from 2001 until 2005. Prior to that, Mr. Herendeen spent nine years as a principal investor at both Dominion Income Management and Cornerstone Partners. He also spent the early part of his career in banking and public accounting, having held various positions with the investment banking group of Oppenheimer & Company, the capital markets group of Continental Bank Corporation, and as a senior auditor with Arthur Andersen & Company.

Zoetis Inc. [FLORHAM PARK, N.J.] (NYSE: ZTS) announced that Glenn David, Senior Vice President of Finance Operations, has been named Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. David will succeed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Paul Herendeen, who has resigned. Before the Zoetis IPO, David served in various financial roles at Pfizer, including vice president of Global Finance for Pfizer Animal Health and vice president of Finance for the U.S. Primary Care franchise. Prior to joining Pfizer in 1999, David held financial positions at Bankers Trust, Paine Webber and Credit Suisse.

EXCO Resources, Inc. [DALLAS] (NYSE: XCO) announced that Chris Peracchi, EXCO’s current Vice President of Finance and Investor Relations, and Treasurer, will become Vice President and acting Chief Financial Officer, following the departure of Richard A. Burnett, EXCO’s current Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Chris Peracchi became EXCO’s Treasurer and Director of Finance and Investor Relations in May 2013 and became its Vice President of Finance and Investor Relations in September 2014. Mr. Peracchi served as the Associate Director of Corporate Development and Investor Relations at Nabors Industries from April 2012 to April 2013 and Director of Finance and Investor Relations at Superior Well Services from March 2009 to April 2012. Mr. Peracchi has over 11 years of experience in Energy Investment Banking at KeyBanc Capital Markets and A.G. Edwards & Sons. Mr. Peracchi also spent four years at Coopers & Lybrand.


Intermedia [MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.] announced that Bob Tirva has joined the company as its new Chief Financial Officer. Tirva joins Intermedia from Dropbox, Inc. He succeeds departing CFO, Scott Allen. Prior to Dropbox, Tirva spent nearly 14 years at Broadcom Corporation, holding a range of finance roles of increasing responsibility, including Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer and Vice President of Finance. Before Broadcom, Tirva held positions with IBM Corporation, Navistar Financial Corporation and Ernst & Young.

AKHAN Semiconductor [CHICAGO] announced the hiring of Kristie King as Chief Financial Officer.

TapImmune Inc. [JACKSONVILLE, Florida] (OTC: TPIV) announced the appointment of Michael J. Loiacono as its Chief Financial Officer and Chief Accounting Officer. Michael will also act as Corporate Secretary. Michael has served an advisory role to the Company as finance consultant to TapImmune since March 2016. Michael served as CFO of Global Axcess Corporation, from 2006-2013. Prior to Global Axcess/FCTI Michael held various positions of increasing responsibility in finance management through several private and publicly-traded organizations.

Liberty Global plc [DENVER, Colorado] (NASDAQ: LBTYA, LBTYB, LBTYK, LILA and LILAK) announced the retirement of Bernie Dvorak who currently serves as EVP and Co-Chief Financial Officer. Charlie Bracken, currently EVP and Co-Chief Financial Officer responsible for finance and treasury operations will assume the sole position of Chief Financial Officer for Liberty Global. Mr. Bracken joined Liberty’s predecessor operations in Europe as CFO in 1999 from Goldman Sachs, and was appointed Co-CFO of Liberty Global at its formation in 2004.

Mr. Young joins ACADIA from Baxalta Incorporated, where he served as Senior Vice President and Treasurer. Prior to Baxalta, Mr. Young worked for over 14 years at Baxter holding multiple leadership roles, including Corporate Vice President and Treasurer, Vice President, International Finance, and Vice President, Global Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A). Boomtown accelerator [BOULDER, Colo.] announced Jason Searfoss as its Chief Financial Officer. Before joining Boomtown, Searfoss was the CFO and member of the Investment Committee of Longford Capital. He has also worked at The Royal Bank of Scotland Group, GE Capital, AEGON, Samsung and JPMorgan Chase.

Michaels Companies, Inc. [IRVING, Texas] (NASDAQ: MIK) named Denise Paulonis Executive Vice President – Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Paulonis, currently Senior Vice President – Finance, succeeds Chuck Sonsteby, Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Sonsteby will continue to serve as Vice Chairman. Ms. Paulonis joined The Michaels Companies in 2014 as Vice President—Investor Relations, Treasury and Corporate Finance and was named Senior Vice President – Finance in November 2015. Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Paulonis held various senior positions with PepsiCo and McKinsey & Company.

National Waste Management Holdings, Inc. [HERNANDO, FL] (OTC: NWMH) announced the appointment of Dali Kranzthor as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining National Waste, Mr. Kranzthor was the director of audit and assurance and valuation services at a boutique accounting firm in St. Petersburg, FL. Global Eagle Entertainment Inc. [LOS ANGELES] (NASDAQ: ENT) announced the appointment of Tom Severson as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Severson replaces Michael Zemetra, who has resigned. Mr. Severson most recently served as CFO of Emerging Markets Communications. Earlier in his career, Mr. Severson served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Myxer. Prior to that, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Nicklaus Companies. Before his time with Nicklaus Companies, Mr. Severson was CFO of American Media. Rocky Mountain High Brands, Inc. [DALLAS] (OTC PINK: RMHB) announced that the Board of Directors appointed Mr. Jens Mielke to fill the position of Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Rocky Mountain High Brands, Jens was National Partner, Technical Accounting for Aventine Hill Partners. Immediately prior to Aventine Hill, Jens was Chief Financial Officer for a high-growth, publicly-traded retailer. Jens spent the majority of his career at Deloitte where he was Audit Partner in the firm’s Dallas office. He also previously served as senior financial analyst at PepsiCo’s corporate headquarters.

Horizon Technology Finance Corporation [FARMINGTON, Conn.] (NASDAQ: HRZN) announced the resignation of Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer Christopher M. Mathieu. Horizon has appointed Daniel R. Trolio, currently Horizon’s Vice President and Corporate Controller, as Vice President of Finance and Interim Chief Financial Officer while Horizon conducts a search for Mr. Mathieu’s permanent successor. Mr. Trolio has served as Vice President and Corporate Controller since 2010. Mr. Trolio has also held the same positions with Horizon Technology Finance Management LLC, the Company’s advisor, since 2006. Prior to joining Horizon, Mr. Trolio served as Senior Manager at a regional public accounting firm and has held positions with KPMG LLP and Arthur Andersen LLP.
