Tracking CFO Movement Across the United Kingdom.


Rolls-Royce announced that David Smith has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer and a Director of Rolls-Royce Holdings plc. He takes up his new role with immediate effect, replacing Mark Morris who has decided to leave the company after 27 years, serving most recently as Chief Financial Officer since January 2012. David Smith joined Rolls-Royce earlier this year, and is currently Chief Financial Officer of the Aerospace Division. David spent the first 25 years of his career at Ford where he held a number of senior positions including Chief Financial Officer and subsequently Chief Executive Officer at Jaguar Land Rover, before he moved to the technology company, Edwards Group as Chief Financial Officer. David Smith is a non-executive director of Motability Operations Group plc.

Kalibrate Technologies plc (AIM: KLBT) announced the appointment of Gregg Budoi as the Group’s new Chief Financial Officer, succeeding Brad Ormsby. Gregg Budoi joins Kalibrate from EZ Energy USA, Inc., where he was Chief Executive Officer and President. Having co-founded EZ Energy in 2008, he built the business to a chain of over 90 operated fuel/convenience stores across multiple locations with an annual revenue in excess of $500 million, before overseeing the sale of EZ Energy to 7-Eleven in October 2012. Prior to this, Mr Budoi was Managing Director and Partner of Barnes Wendling Corporate Finance, LLC. From 1997 to 2002, Gregg was Chief Financial Officer for Dairy Mart Convenience Stores, Inc.

Surgical Innovations Group announced that Mike Thornton served notice of his intention to resign as Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Mr Thornton will continue to carry out his existing duties during his nine month notice period, which can be terminated earlier by mutual agreement.

Balfour Beatty PLC announced that Duncan Magrath will leave the business in 2015 following a process to appoint his successor. He has been with the company for eight years, including six years as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Duncan will continue as a member of the Board and as CFO until his successor has been identified.

Learning Technologies Group plc announced the appointment of Neil Anthony Elton as Group Finance Director and to the Board. Neil joins from Sagentia Group plc, where he was Group Finance Director from 2010 to 2014. Prior to this, between 2007 to 2010, he was in the same role at Concateno plc. He had various roles at Mecom Group plc including Finance Director. During the earlier part of his career he worked at Yava group and Mirror Group plc and trained at Arthur Andersen and Deloitte & Touche. Richard Jones, LTG’s current Finance Director, will assume the role of Group Financial Controller and steps down from the Board.
