Stuart Jackson exerce actuellement ses fonctions au sein d'Acergy S.A., société d'ingénierie parapétrolière intervenant sur les secteurs de l'offshore et de la construction, où il occupe le poste de CFO depuis plus de 6 ans. Il possède une expérience de plus de 25 années dans la gestion financière internationale, dans les finances d'entreprise, dans le commerce et la direction de structures, sa carrière l'ayant successivement mené au Royaume-Uni, en Extrême-Orient et en Afrique du Nord.

Tony Bates occupait pour sa part le poste de Chief Financial Officer depuis mai 2004, jusqu'à sa nomination au poste de COO (Chief Operating Officer) en avril 2008. Il était resté dans l'intervalle Acting Chief Financial Officer.

COLT appoints Stuart Jackson as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director

COLT, a leading European provider of business communications, today announced that Stuart Jackson has been appointed Chief Financial Officer reporting directly to Rakesh Bhasin, Chief Executive Officer. He will join the Company on 7 September 2009 and be appointed to the Board of Directors on that date.

Stuart will join from Acergy S.A., the offshore engineering and construction contractor, where he has been Chief Financial Officer for more than six years. Stuart has more than 25 years international financial management, corporate finance, trading and general management expertise, having managed businesses in the UK, the Far East and North Africa.

Tony Bates was Chief Financial Officer from May 2004 until he was appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) in April 2008; since then he has also been Acting Chief Financial Officer.

Commenting on the changes, Rakesh Bhasin said :

There are no matters requiring disclosure in accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.13 in respect of Mr Jackson’s appointment as a director of the Company.
