Cording Real Estate Group, the Northern European real estate investment and asset management firm, has appointed Philip Gittins as Group Finance Director in order to support its expanding business.

Philip is responsible for Cording’s overall finance function. He has been working in investment markets since 1987. He spent almost 20 years at Henderson Global Investors (now TH Real Estate) where, until 2007, he worked within the real estate group as a director responsible for finance and operations, including overseeing the creation and operating of various pan-­‐European real estate funds.

In 2007, he left to jointly create a real estate and private equity fund administration business, Saltgate, and was based in Luxembourg for more than six years. As Managing Director of the Luxembourg operation and a member of the Compliance and Risk Committee, he acted as executive director for many companies, including various Luxembourg, German, Channel Islands and UK structures.

Peter Dove, CEO of Cording, said: “Philip brings with him a wealth of experience in real estate finance and he will be a huge asset to our team”.
