Datapipe Appoints Jim Holtzman as Chief Financial Officer

Datapipe, a global provider of managed services and infrastructure for outsourced IT and cloud computing, announced today that Jim Holtzman will oversee the company's finance, accounting and investor relations functions as Chief Financial Officer. In this role, he joins the company's executive management team, which oversees company strategy, planning and operations.

Jim brings to Datapipe 20 years of entrepreneurial financial and operational experience in the software/SaaS, outsourcing, manufacturing, procurement and telecommunications industries. He has held senior management roles in the areas of finance, administration, operations and marketing at a variety of successful early stage businesses, including most recently Fieldglass, Inc. in Chicago.

Previously, Jim held senior roles at iPhotonics, Inc. in Maryland, as well as MFS Communications and Cognitive Concepts, Inc. also in the Chicago area. Prior to his entrepreneurial career, Jim served as a banker and investment banker in various roles within the capital markets, banking and leveraged lending sectors.

Jim holds a master's degree in business administration, with concentrations in finance and accounting, from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. He also holds a bachelor's degree in microbiology from Indiana University at Bloomington, as well as a secondary concentration in chemistry.
