Onex Corporation (TSX: OCX) announced that Christopher Govan will succeed Donald Lewtas as Chief Financial Officer effective March 1, 2015. Mr. Lewtas joined Onex in 1987 and has been Chief Financial Officer since 2008. Mr. Lewtas will continue to oversee Onex’ group purchasing and shared services initiative and be available to ensure a smooth transition to Mr. Govan. Mr. Govan joined Onex in 1998 and currently serves as a Managing Director, responsible for corporate and fund administration, and taxation.
Apivio Systems Inc. (TSX-V: APV) announced that it has appointed David Pais as Chief Financial Officer of the Company, effective October 27, 2014. The current Chief Financial Officer, Michael Malana, will remain with the Company until November 30, 2014. David Pais is currently the Vice-President of Finance at Kadant Canada Corp. Mr. Pais’ experience includes serving as Chief Financial Officer at a VoIP software Company and a vendor to the Telecommunications Industry and a decade of work in the Financial Services sector.
AlarmForce Industries Inc. (TSX: AF) announced that it has appointed Chetna Kapadia as Chief Financial Officer of AlarmForce. Chetna Kapadia has been with AlarmForce since 1996 and has served as the corporate controller.
