Panoro Minerals Ltd. [VANCOUVER, British Columbia] announced the appointment of Kathryn Johnson as Chief Financial Officer for the Company. Most recently Ms. Johnson was Director of Finance of Tahoe Resources and Chief Financial officer of Rio Alto Mining. Ms. Johnson also held the positions of Corporate Controller and VP Corporate Reporting of Rio Alto.
Slate Office REIT (TSX: SOT.UN) [TORONTO, ON] announced that Robert Armstrong has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer of the REIT, effective in December 2015. He was most recently a partner in the real estate practice at Deloitte LLP in Toronto. He was also on the executive committee for the Toronto assurance practice and was Deloitte’s Canadian IPO leader. Prior to Deloitte, Robert was at Brookfield Asset Management Inc. in various treasury, finance and financial reporting positions.
