Canada | CFO Moves – week ending January 30 2015

Tracking CFO Movement Across Canada.


T-Bird Pharma Inc. (TSX-V: TPI) announced that Sandra (Sandy) Pratt has joined the Company as Chief Financial Officer, replacing Chris Taylor who has stepped down to return to his private practice. Taylor will remain involved with the Company at the Board level by continuing on as Corporate Secretary and operationally as an RPIC and consultant. Ms. Pratt began her career in public practice with Deloitte. Ms. Pratt left private practice to join Angiotech in its early stages, where she began as controller and then was Director of Finance. More recently, Ms. Pratt served as Vice-President of Finance at the Oak Bay Marine Group.

Homeland Energy Group Ltd. (NEX: HEG.H) announced Ajay Gupta has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer from his role as Chief Financial Officer and Murtaza Dean has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer.

Advanced Explorations Inc. (TSX-V: AXI) announced that Lou Nagy has resigned from his position as Chief Financial Officer in order to pursue other opportunities. In his place, Carina Da Mota, the Company’s Controller and Director of Finance, has assumed the role of acting Chief Financial Officer for the Company. Ms. Da Mota is the Company’s current Director of Finance and has been with AEI for over 7 years in various capacities.

Geomega Resources Inc. (TSX-V: GMA) announced the appointment of Derek Lindsay as Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”). Mr. Lindsay replaces Simon Britt who held the position on an interim basis. Lindsay brings broad experience, in Canada and internationally, from senior finance roles at Arianne Phosphate Inc., Cryocath, Aeroplan, and Bell Canada International as well as Imasco and CIBC Wood Gundy. At Arianne, he served as CFO. Mr. Lindsay is also a partner at Sierra Financial Corp.

Condor Resources Inc. (TSX-V: CN) announced that Jonathan Younie has been appointed Chief Financial Officer. Since 2006, Mr. Younie has been the Manager, Corporate Finance and Accounting, of the New Dawn Group, and a Director and/or Officer of various TSX-V listed companies. Prior to joining New Dawn, Mr. Younie held accounting positions at private and public companies including Ashton Mining of Canada, Inc. He currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Tyner Resources Ltd. and Gstaad Capital Corporation. Mr. Younie takes over following the resignation of John Watt who has been with the Company since 2009.
