SNC-Lavalin [MONTREAL] (TSX: SNC) announced the appointment of Benita M. Warmbold to its Board of Directors, effective as of May 4th 2017. Ms. Warmbold is Senior Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer at Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB). Prior to taking on her current role, Ms. Warmbold was Senior Vice-President and Chief Operations Officer for CPPIB. In that role, she was responsible for technology, investment operations, data, investment finance, treasury, performance, reporting and investment risk. Prior to joining CPPIB, Ms. Warmbold was Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer at Northwater Capital Management Inc. She previously held senior positions with Canada Development Investment Corporation and KPMG.

Newalta Corporation [CALGARY] (TSX: NAL) appointed Linda Dietsche as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective January 1, 2017. Ms. Dietsche, currently Vice President, Finance, will succeed Mike Borys. Mr. Borys is leaving the company at the end of December and will then be available to support the transition as needed in 2017. Ms. Dietsche joined Newalta as Assistant Controller in 2003 and has held progressively responsible roles, becoming Vice President, Finance in 2012. Prior to Newalta, she held senior accounting roles with Mount Royal University and Ogilvy and Mather.

NexgenRx Inc. [TORONTO] (TSX-V: NXG) announced that Taba Merrikh has stepped down as CFO. Kelly Ehler has been appointed Interim Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Ehler has extensive experience having served senior finance and operations roles in several private and TSX Listed Public Companies.

Crystal Peak Minerals Inc. [TORONTO] (TSX-V: CPM) announced the appointment of Blake Measom as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Measom will replace Thomas Pladsen, who has served as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer since August, 2015. Mr. Pladsen will remain as a director of the Company. Prior to joining Crystal Peak, Mr. Measom served as Chief Financial Officer for Barrick Gold of North America, Inc., a subsidiary of Barrick Gold Corporation. Prior to joining Barrick, he served as Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Kennecott Energy Company, a subsidiary of the Rio Tinto Group.

Sarama Resources Ltd. [VANCOUVER] (TSX-V: SWA) announced that Lui Evangelista has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) of the Company. Mr. Evangelista is a Certified Practicing Accountant with thirty years of public company accounting, finance and corporate governance experience. Mr. Evangelista’s appointment comes with the resignation of Nick Longmire who has been the Company’s CFO since 2011 and who is leaving to pursue personal interests.
