Tracking CFO Movement Across Canada.


The Second Cup Ltd. (TSX: SCU) announced that Steven Boyack will resign as Chief Financial Officer of Second Cup effective January 2, 2015.

Great-West Lifeco Inc. (TSX: GWO) announced the succession plan for William W. Lovatt, Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer, who has communicated his intention to retire in mid 2015 following a 35-year career with the Great-West Lifeco organization, including the last 17 years as CFO. The company announced that Garry MacNicholas, currently Executive Vice-President, Actuarial and Risk, will be appointed to the role of Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer effective March 31, 2015. Following that date, Mr. Lovatt will remain in an advisory role to Mr. MacNicholas until his retirement. Mr. MacNicholas joined Great-West Lifeco subsidiary Canada Life in 1982 and has held a wide variety of roles with increasing responsibility. He was appointed to his current role as Executive Vice-President, Actuarial and Risk in May 2013.

Pacific Iron Ore Corporation (TSX-V: POC) announced that Carlyn Dahl, CFO is taking a temporary leave of absence for medical reasons. Robert Tedford has been appointed interim CFO and Corporate Secretary. Mr. Tedford is a Chartered Accountant and a former CEO and CFO of Patheon Inc.

Graphite One Resources Inc. (TSX-V: GPH) announced that W. Alan Ahlgren has been appointed Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary. Mr. Ahlgren will replace Dale Hansen, who resigned. Mr. Ahlgren will be based in the Company’s office in Vancouver and the Calgary office will be closed. Mr. Ahlgren has extensive experience having served as CFO and Corporate Secretary with AQM Copper Inc. and previously with First Coal Corporation, until its purchase by Xstrata Coal Canada. Recently, Mr. Ahlgren has been assisting in the restructuring of a company with operations in Argentina and with a mining company in transition following a purchase of a mine in the United States. Prior to First Coal, Mr. Ahlgren served as Vice President Finance with Kinross Gold Corporation.

Northair Silver Corp. (TSX-V: INM) announced the appointment of Robert J. Scott as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to replace outgoing CFO Wayne Johnstone who has decided to pursue other business interests and the appointment of Annette Cusworth to the Company’s Board of Directors. Mr. Scott currently serves as the CFO of Riverside Resources. In addition, Mr. Scott is a co-founder and director of privately held, Pan American Hydro Corporation, and also currently serves on the board of Entourage Metals. Ms. Cusworth has over 25 years of financial management experience with both public and private companies, including Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer for CHC Helicopter Corporation, and CFO for Magma Energy Corp.
