The accreditations, received for both the Reconciliation and Corporates - Treasury categories, were made in recognition of the quality and market-suitability of Broadridge's PROactive™ Reconciliation solution and its SWIFT Transaction Management workflow solution, respectively.
Broadridge continues to extend its global strategy to supply financial institutions and corporates with best-in-class solutions and services based on the SWIFT global standard for secure, cost-efficient financial messaging. Broadridge now supports over 4,000 counterparty connections and has most recently signed the first Africa-based customer for its global SWIFT service, adding to its growing customer bases in Europe, the Americas, Asia and Australia, and its appointment by SWIFT earlier in 2013 as a certified Business Partner for six European countries.
"SWIFT Certified Applications labels are highly valued by the end-user community, and enable well-informed purchasing decisions. They provide transparency in terms of a service provider's ability to meet carefully-defined requirements relating to SWIFT standards, messaging and connectivity, as well as the provider's depth of domain knowledge," said Filip Versluys, Head of Partner Marketing, SWIFT. "As a global industry leader, Broadridge brings the expertise, international scale and market-centric focus that we seek in our strategic partnerships."
"Increasingly firms are turning to SWIFT, driven by the need for standardized messaging to improve efficiency and reduce risk," said Andreas Guenther, Executive Director Global SWIFT Relationship, Broadridge. "Through our broad range of SWIFT-accredited solutions, including our global bureau, our unique transaction management and workflow solution, and our reconciliation and process control suite, we offer a compelling value proposition to both the SWIFT user community and to those that seek to join it."
Prior to 2013, Broadridge's solutions for reconciliation and SWIFT transaction manamanagement were awarded accreditations under the SWIFTReady label, now superseded by the SWIFT Certified Applications label.
