Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. (NYSE: MMC) [NEW YORK] announced the appointment of Mark McGivney as Chief Financial Officer, effective January 1, 2016. Mark most recently served as SVP of Corporate Finance for Marsh & McLennan, and previously as CFO and COO of Mercer, from 2011 to 2014, and CFO of Marsh, from 2007 to 2011. Mr. McGivney succeeds J. Michael Bischoff, who is retiring after having served as Chief Financial Officer since September 2012.

Adbrain [SAN FRANCISCO] announced the appointment of John Grobstein as COO/CFO. John will be based in London. John previous roles included positions as principal in, and CFO/COO of, Blueslice Networks Inc. Prior to Blueslice, John was a VP at AT&T.

Best Buy Co., Inc. [MINNEAPOLIS] announced the appointment of Karen McLoughlin to its Board of Directors. McLoughlin is the chief financial officer at Cognizant Technology Solutions. McLoughlin joined Cognizant in 2003. She has been the chief financial officer since 2012. Prior to joining Cognizant, McLoughlin spent six years at Spherion Corp. (SFN Group which was acquired by Randstad in 2011) and three years at Ryder System Inc., where she held key financial management positions.

W. R. Grace & Co. (NYSE: GRA) [COLUMBIA, Md.] announced that Dean P. Freeman has been hired to be Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of GCP Applied Technologies Inc., the public company expected to be formed by a spin-off in early 2016 of Grace’s Construction Products segment and its Darex Packaging Technologies business. He will be located at the company’s global headquarters in Cambridge, MA. Previously, Freeman was with Watts Water Technologies (NYSE: WTS) in Andover, MA, where he was interim President and Chief Executive Officer after serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Freeman also held senior finance and treasurer roles with Flowserve Corporation and with The Stanley Works Corporation. Prior roles included financial executive and management positions with United Technologies Corporation and SPX Corporation.

Taubman Centers, Inc. (NYSE: TCO) [BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich.] announced that Lisa A. Payne will transition the company’s chief financial officer role to Treasurer and Executive Vice President, Capital Markets, Simon J. Leopold, effective January 1, 2016. Payne will retain her role as vice chairman of the Board until leaving the company in March 2016. Leopold joined Taubman in 2012. Prior to joining Taubman, Leopold spent 13 years as a managing director in the real estate investment banking groups at Deutsche Bank, KBW and UBS. He has also worked in a variety of urban planning and economic development positions in New York City, including in the Office of the Mayor, the Department of City Planning and the Economic Development Corporation.

La Quinta Holdings Inc. (NYSE: LQ) [IRVING, Texas] appointed Keith Cline, the Chief Financial Officer, as interim President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Cline has served as La Quinta’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since January 2013. From 2011 to 2013, prior to joining La Quinta, he was Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Charming Charlie, Inc., and from 2006 to 2011, Mr. Cline was Senior Vice President of Finance at Express, Inc. Mr. Cline began his career at Arthur Andersen & Company and held financial leadership roles at The J.M. Smucker Company, FedEx, Custom Critical, and L Brands, Inc.

Hudson Pacific Properties, Inc. (NYSE: HPP) [LOS ANGELES] announced that Chief Financial Officer Mark Lammas has taken on the additional responsibilities of Chief Operating Officer. Lammas has served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer since Hudson Pacific’s initial public offering in 2010. Prior to his current roles at Hudson Pacific, Lammas served as a consultant to the firm’s predecessor, Hudson Capital, LLC. Earlier in his career, Lammas was a senior finance executive for Maguire Properties, Inc. and worked as an attorney for Cox, Castle & Nicholson LLP.

Medytox Solutions, Inc. (OTC: MMMS) [WEST PALM BEACH, FL] announced the appointment of Jason P. Adams to the position of Chief Financial Officer. Previously, Mr. Adams served as CFO of West Central Behavioral Health (WCBH). Prior to his position at WCBH, he held similar positions at Alico, Inc. and the Source Interlink Companies, Inc.

First Data [NEW YORK] announced that Himanshu Patel has been appointed Chief Financial Officer for the company. Patel has served as First Data’s Executive Vice President of Strategy, Planning & Business Development since June 2013. Before joining First Data in mid-2013, Patel was at JPMorgan Chase & Co. for 16 years, most recently as a Managing Director leading strategy for the Chase mortgage banking division. Prior to this, from 2001 to 2011, he was a senior equity analyst for JPMorgan.

Paradigm Resource Management Corporation (OTC: PRDC) [SAN FRANCISCO] announced the appointment of Daniel Otazo as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Otazo will also assume the position of interim Chief Executive Officer. He worked as a management consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Germany, Switzerland and Spain and assumed senior executive positions in several banks in South and Central America, including Chief Executive Officer, Chief Risk Officer, Chairman of the Investment Committee, and Vice President of Finance and Controlling.

Auction.com, LLC [IRVINE and SILICON VALLEY, Calif.] announced the hiring of technology finance veteran Aman Kothari as its chief financial officer. Kothari comes to Auction.com after more than 12 years at Yahoo!, where he most recently served as senior vice president, global controller and chief accounting officer. Before Yahoo!, Kothari was a senior manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Osiris Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: OSIR) [COLUMBIA, Md.] announced the appointment of Gregory Law, to serve as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Law has been employed with Osiris since 2014 as the Vice President of Finance and Principal Accounting Officer. Prior to joining Osiris in 2014, Mr. Law spent over a decade providing consulting services to public and private companies. Before his consulting career, Mr. Law held a number of increasingly responsible finance positions at various public companies, such as XO Communications, MCI and General Electric.

CarGurus [CAMBRIDGE, Mass.] announced that Jason Trevisan has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining CarGurus, Trevisan was a General Partner at Polaris Partners. He previously held various management roles at aQuantive (acquired by Microsoft in 2007) and served as a consultant with Bain & Company.

Crowdtap [NEW YORK] announced the appointment of Justin Squezello to Chief Financial Officer. Squezello is a veteran financial executive in the digital media space, with more than 15 years of experience at About.com, IAC/InterActiveCorp and Ziff Davis Media.

GlobalLogic [SAN JOSE, Calif.] announced that Doug Ahrens has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer. Ahrens comes to GlobalLogic from AppliedMicro, where he served as CFO. Previously, he was vice president of finance at Maxim Integrated.

Gordmans Stores, Inc. (NASDAQ: GMAN) [OMAHA, NE] announced that James B. Brown has been appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Brown joins Gordmans from Hancock Fabrics, Inc. where he was Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President since 2013. Prior to Hancock Fabrics, Mr. Brown spent seven years at Fred’s Inc., in a variety of finance positions of increasing responsibility including Senior Vice President, Finance.

Oncobiologics, Inc. [CRANBURY, N.J.] announced the appointment of Lawrence A. Kenyon as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO). His most recent positions were at Arno Therapeutics, Inc. (Chief Operating Officer and CFO) and Tamir Biotechnology, Inc. (interim President, Chief Executive Officer and CFO). Prior to these positions, Mr. Kenyon served as CFO for Par Pharmaceutical Companies, Inc. Prior to his tenure at Par, Mr. Kenyon was CFO at two publicly traded biopharmaceutical companies, Alfacell Corp. and NeoPharm, Inc.

8minutenergy Renewables, LLC has named Marc Atlas as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Prior to joining 8minutenergy, Atlas simultaneously served as Vice President of Finance and Director of International Development for Invenergy LLC. Atlas includes previously worked for Charles River Associates and Falconwood.

Pearl Interactive Network, Inc. [COLUMBUS, OHIO] hired Melissa Metzger to lead the financial strategy for the company.

United Natural Foods, Inc. (NASDAQ: UNFI) [PROVIDENCE, R.I.] announced that Michael (“Mike”) Zechmeister has been appointed Senior Vice President. He will succeed Mark Shamber as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, effective mid-October, 2015. Mr. Zechmeister joins the Company from General Mills, Inc. with over 25 years of experience. Over his tenure with General Mills, Inc., he served in a variety of senior finance roles, including most recently as Vice President, Finance, Yoplait USA. In addition, Mr. Zechmeister was Vice President and Treasurer from 2010 to 2012, Vice President, Finance, US Retail Sales, from 2007 to 2010 and Vice President, Finance, Pillsbury Division, from 2005 to 2007.

Accuray Incorporated (NASDAQ: ARAY) [SUNNYVALE, Calif.] announced that Kevin Waters, formerly Senior Vice President, Finance, has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer of the Company. He succeeds Gregory E. Lichtwardt who retired as Executive Vice President, Operations, and Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Mr. Waters joined Accuray as its Senior Vice President, Finance, in October, 2013. Prior to joining Accuray, Mr. Waters was employed by Conceptus Inc. as its Corporate Controller from October, 2006 until January, 2008, and most recently as its Vice President, Finance, from January, 2008, until October, 2013. Mr. Waters began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP.

Ticketfly [SAN FRANCISCO] announced the appointment of Derek Yung as its Chief Financial Officer. Previously, he served as CFO to several late-stage companies including Nextag and Tria Beauty.

HighTower [CHICAGO] announced the promotion of Chris Curtis to Chief Financial Officer. Chris Curtis joined HighTower in March as Executive Vice President, Finance & Accounting. Mr. Curtis previously worked for Envestnet. Larry Koehler, HighTower’s previous CFO and founding executive since the company’s inception, assumes the newly created role of Chief Administrative Officer and Vice Chairman.

Stratus Video Interpreting [TAMPA BAY, Fl.] announced that Maureen Huber joined as CFO.

Jounce Therapeutics, Inc. [CAMBRIDGE, Mass.] announced the appointment of Kim Drapkin to the position of chief financial officer. Prior to joining Jounce, Ms. Drapkin owned a financial consulting firm where she served as the interim chief financial officer for numerous early stage biotechnology companies, including Jounce. Additional clients included Eleven Biotherapeutics, Inc., NinePoint Medical, Inc., Blueprint Medicines Corporation, Warp Drive Bio LLC, Edimer Pharmaceuticals and Voyager Therapeutics, Inc. Previously Ms. Drapkin was chief financial officer at EPIX Pharmaceuticals. Prior to EPIX, Ms. Drapkin was at Millennium Pharmaceuticals where she spent ten years in roles of increasing responsibility within the finance organization. Ms. Drapkin began her career in the technology and life sciences practice at PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP.

Makindus, Inc. [DOYLESTOWN, Pa.] announced that Michael Celano has been appointed Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Celano has served on the Board of Directors and as audit committee chair for Orasure Technologies, Inc. since 2006. He most recently was appointed to the Board of Directors of Performance Health. Prior to joining Makindus, he served as Chief Financial Officer for Drugscan, Inc. and Kensey Nash Corporation. Previously, Mr. Celano was Chief Financial Officer at BioRexis Pharmaceutical Corporation. Mr. Celano was a partner at Arthur Andersen and KPMG during his 24 years in public accounting, and led the U.S Life Sciences Practice.

Invitation Homes [Dallas, TX] announced it has appointed Ernest “Ernie” Freedman as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective October 14, 2015. Mr. Freedman most recently served as Chief Financial Officer of AIMCO. He experience includes positions with Ernst & Young, General Electric’s Commercial Real Estate Group and HEI Hotels and Resorts. John Schissel, the company’s current CFO, will remain engaged through the transition period.

Apartment Investment and Management Company (“Aimco”) (NYSE: AIV) [DENVER] announced that Ernie Freedman has resigned as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Aimco to join Invitation Homes. Paul Beldin, Aimco’s Chief Accounting Officer since 2008, has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Freedman will remain with Aimco through October 1 to provide for a smooth transition.

CleanSlate Addiction Treatment Centers [NORTHAMPTON, Mass.] announced that Patrick J. Murphy joined as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer. Before joining CleanSlate, Murphy was one of the Founders at Women’s Health USA. He held numerous positions including Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer and President. Patrick continues to sit on their Board of Directors. Murphy was a Founder, Executive Vice President, and Chief Administrative Officer of Evolution1. Earlier in his career, Murphy was the Assistant Vice President at Value Health. Prior to his position at Value Health, Murphy gained ten years of experience in the insurance and financial services industries at Arthur Andersen.

ThreatTrack Security [RESTON, Va.] appointed Alan Rizek as its Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, Rizek was CFO for MicroLink LLC. Prior to that, he was CFO for Maden Technologies.

PENSCO [SAN FRANCISCO] announced the appointment of Mark Lee as Chief Financial Officer. Mark most recently served as the CFO and managing director of the Stanford Management Company. Before that he was CFO and Senior Vice President of Schwab Institutional and Asset Management. Earlier in his career, Mark held senior positions at Barclays Global Investors, Goldman Sachs, and Hewlett Packard.

PureTech Health plc (LSE: PRTC) [BOSTON] announced that Michael MacLean has been appointed to PureTech’s management team as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President. Michael MacLean joins PureTech from Iron Mountain Inc., where he was Chief Financial Officer of its North American business. Mr. MacLean was Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Accounting Officer at Biogen. He also was an audit partner at global public accounting firms including KPMG.

eMagin Corporation (NYSE MKT: EMAN) [HOPEWELL JUNCTION, N.Y.] announced that Paul Campbell, CFO, has resigned from the company to pursue other interests. Mr. Campbell is succeeded by Jeffrey P. Lucas. Mr. Lucas most recently served as the CFO of Transfreight Companies.

Novak Brothers Development [GEORGETOWN, TX] announced the appointment of Deborah A Thomas as its new Chief Financial Officer. Deborah A. Thomas comes to Novak Brothers from Marlin Atlantis (Dallas) where she was CFO and a Founding Partner. Prior to Marlin, Ms.Thomas was a Principal at Thomas Consulting (Dallas) where she provided interim CFO duties, serving top management and Boards for private companies, ranging from software technology to telecom companies. She was Vice President for Merrill Lynch Private Capital in Dallas. Prior to that Ms. Thomas worked for Morgan Stanley in New York after earning her CPA while working at Ernst & Young.

Ygrene Energy Fund Inc. [SANTA ROSA, Calif.] announced that Michael Chan has joined the company as CFO. Prior to joining Ygrene, Michael led the treasury and capital markets function at The Cronos Group. Michael also served as CFO of The Chartres Lodging Group.

Playwire Media [DEERFIELD BEACH, Fl.] announced the hiring of Chris Giomblanco as Chief Operating Officer. Giomblanco’s most recent position before joining Playwire was at Triad Retail Media where he joined the company as the founding CFO and grew the role to Chief Financial and Administrative Officer.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc. (NASDAQ: CBRL) [LEBANON, Tenn.] announced that its Chief Financial Officer, Lawrence E. Hyatt, plans to retire at the end of the 2016 fiscal year. Hyatt has been CFO since January 2011.

API Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ: ATNY) [ORLANDO, Fl.] announced that Eric F. Seeton has been named Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining API, Mr. Seeton served as Business Unit Finance Director for Analog Devices. He joined Analog Devices as part of its July 2014 acquisition of Hittite Microwave Corp., where Mr. Seeton served as Hittite’s Director of Finance for three years. Earlier in his career, he served various finance leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson and Procter & Gamble (formerly The Gillette Company). Claudio Mannarino, who has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will transition to another role at API.

Assess Systems and Chequed.com announced the appointment of Gary Ito as Chief Financial Officer of the newly combined firm. Ito was most recently CFO for Allegro Development Corporation. He previously served as CFO for INTTRA; at Ariba; and CFO of Quadrem. Prior to that, Ito spent nearly 18 years with Nortel.

Endologix, Inc. (NASDAQ: ELGX) [IRVINE, Calif.] announced that it has appointed Vaseem Mahboob to the position of Chief Financial Officer, effective October 15, 2015. Mr. Mahboob succeeds Shelley Thunen, who is resigning as part of the Company’s previously announced CFO transition. Vaseem Mahboob joins Endologix after serving in several financial leadership positions at GE Healthcare. His most recent role was Chief Financial Officer of their Global IT business. Prior to this position he was the Chief Financial Officer of their Eastern and African Emerging Markets. Prior to this role, Mr. Mahboob was Chief Financial Officer of GE Healthcare’s Global Ultrasound Business. Mr. Mahboob also served as CFO of GE Healthcare’s Global Magnetic Resonance (MRI) Business, along with several other global financial leadership positions.

Mirna Therapeutics [Austin, Texas] announced the appointment of Alan Fuhrman as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He was most recently the CFO of Ambit Biosciences. Mr. Fuhrman currently serves on the Board of Directors and as Chair of the Audit Committee for Loxo Oncology. He has also served as the CFO at Naviscan, and Sonus Pharmaceuticals.

Exide Technologies [MILTON, Ga.] announced the appointment of Anthony (Tony) Genito as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Genito was most recently the Chief Financial Officer at Spectrum Brands Holding Inc. Prior to joining the Company, he held roles of increasing responsibility in Spectrum’s financial organization and held various financial management positions at Schering-Plough Corporation. He began his career with the accounting firm Deloitte & Touche.

iQor [ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.] announced the appointment of David Kaminsky as its Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Kaminsky joins iQor from Vidyo where he served as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Vidyo, David was Executive Vice President and CFO of NTT Data Inc. (a combination of Keane, Inc., Intelligroup, Inc., MISI Inc., Revere Inc. and Vertex Inc.). Before NTT, David was the CFO of Altegrity, Inc. David spent 12 years at GE where he was the CFO of GE Commercial Finances North American Leasing Operations, CFO of GE Commercial Distribution Finance, CFO of GE Information Technology Services Managed Services Business and European Operations.

Agritek Holdings, Inc. (OTCQB: AGTK) [LOS ANGELES, CA] announced that Heather Bush has been appointed by the Board of Directors as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) replacing Barry Hollander. Ms. Bush most recently served as Controller of Medimix Specialty Pharmacy and its affiliated pharmaceutical compounding companies, since September 2014. Ms. Bush’s financial experience includes employment at PSS World Medical Inc., from July 2011 until it was acquired by McKesson Corporation in February 2013. The Company was integrated into the McKesson Medical Surgical business unit, at which point she became the Assistant Controller of the Extended Care division until August 2014.
