Yelp Inc. [SAN FRANCISCO] (NYSE: YELP) announced that Charles “Lanny” Baker will join the company as Chief Financial Officer, effective May 9, 2016. Most recently, Mr. Baker served as Chief Executive Officer and President of ZipRealty, Inc. (September 2010 – March 2016), during which time ZipRealty was acquired by Realogy Holdings, Inc. (August 2014). Previously, Mr. Baker served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of ZipRealty (December 2008 – September 2010). Additionally, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Monster Worldwide, Inc. (March 2005 – June 2007). From 1993 to 2005, Mr. Baker held various research positions at Salomon Brothers (subsequently Salomon Smith Barney, and then Citigroup) and was a Managing Director in the Equity Research Department. Mr. Baker currently serves as a director of XO Group, Inc. (November 2005 – present) where he chairs the Audit and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committees; and also recently served as director and Chairman of the Audit Committee (2011 – December 2015) of HomeAway, Inc., an online vacation rental company, which was acquired by Expedia, Inc.

SUPERVALU INC. [MINNEAPOLIS, MN] (NYSE: SVU) announced that Bruce Besanko, the Company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, has added the responsibilities of Chief Financial Officer, a position he held from August 2013 to October 2015.

The Wendy’s Company [DUBLIN, Ohio] (NASDAQ: WEN) announced that Gunther Plosch will join the Company on May 2, 2016 and will serve as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer following a transition period during the month of May. Plosch joins Wendy’s from the Kellogg Company, where he has spent the last 16 years in Finance roles of increasing responsibility, including his most recent assignment as Vice President of Global Business Services and, previously, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the Kellogg North America business. Current President and Chief Financial Officer Todd Penegor will become CEO at that time. Plosch began his career with The Procter & Gamble Company in Austria, where he spent nine years in various divisions, ultimately serving as Associate Director of Finance for the Central and European division. He joined Kellogg in 2000 as the Finance Director in the United Kingdom division, and was subsequently promoted to the U.S. business in 2005, where he led finance teams in Corporate Planning and Morning Foods. In 2010 he became Chief Financial Officer of Kellogg North America and in 2014 was elevated to Vice President of Global Business Services.

Mount Tam Biotechnologies, Inc. [NOVATO, CA] (OTC PINK: MNTM) announced that Jim Stapleton will assume the role of Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”). Mr. Stapleton succeeds current interim CFO David R. Wells. Mr. Stapleton is the current Audit Committee chair and a member of the Board of Directors of Summer Energy Holdings Inc. From August 2012 to May 2014 Mr. Stapleton was the CFO of Ozone International, LLC. From February 2012 to June 2012 Mr. Stapleton was the CFO at Jones Soda Co. From 2007 to 2011 Mr. Stapleton was a consultant for a variety of companies. From May 2005 through July 2007 Mr. Stapleton was the CFO of Bionovo, Inc.

Smoothie King [NEW ORLEANS] announced the hiring of Brian Judge as Chief Financial officer. Judge has worked with a number of retail companies in his career, including leadership roles with Buddy’s Home Furnishings and Ruth’s Hospitality Group.

Mannatech®, Incorporated [COPPELL, Texas] (NASDAQ: MTEX) announced it has promoted David Johnson, Chief Accounting Officer, to Chief Financial Officer. Johnson joined Mannatech in July 2013 and brings more than 22 years of experience to the company. Prior to Mannatech, Johnson held several financial management positions, including manager of accounting at Safety-Kleen and financial controller at Copart.

Accretive Health, Inc. [CHICAGO] (OTC Pink: ACHI) announced that Christopher Ricaurte, Senior Vice President, Revenue Cycle Operations for Accretive Health, has been appointed Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, succeeding Peter Csapo, who is stepping down from his role. Mr. Ricaurte has served as Senior Vice President, Revenue Cycle Operations for Accretive Health since 2013 and is responsible for all of the company’s centers of excellence in the U.S. and India. Before joining Accretive, he was CFO, Silicon Systems Group at Applied Materials, Inc. Prior to this, he was President of Nortel Business Services, where he had also previously held the position of CFO, Global Operations. Before this, Mr. Ricaurte was CFO of CHEP Europe in London. He also worked for GE for more than 20 years, where he held positions of increasing responsibility, including CFO for GE Consumer & Industrial in Europe, Middle East

Lime Energy Co. [NEWARK, N.J.] (NASDAQ: LIME) announced that Bruce Torkelson will be joining the organization as its new Chief Financial Officer on May 2, 2016. Lime Energy’s current Chief Financial Officer, Mary Colleen Brennan, will be stepping down from her position, but will remain with the company until May 31, 2016. Mr. Torkelson has served as Corporate Vice President — Financial Planning of CalAtlantic Homes since January 2010 where he focused on long-term planning and strategic initiatives. Previously, he served as Vice President — Corporate Operations of Standard Pacific Homes.

Stratus Technologies, Inc. [MAYNARD, MS] announced the appointment of Christina Clohecy as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), replacing Bob Laufer who is leaving Stratus after 27 years of service to pursue other opportunities. Most recently, Clohecy was the vice president of finance and administration for Airvana, having joined the company in 2009. Prior to that, she held a series of positions at both Sycamore Networks and Vitronics Soltec.

Green Charge Networks [SANTA CLARA, Calif.] named Tim Larrison chief financial officer. Tim joins Green Charge from YGEA Holding Co., a subsidiary of Yingli Solar where he was CFO and board director. Before YGEA, Tim served in senior corporate finance roles at public and private equity-backed companies including Simbol Materials, Verified Identity Pass and Virgin Media. Earlier in his career, he worked several years at Enron Europe in asset development and structured finance.

Dicerna Pharmaceuticals, Inc. [CAMBRIDGE, Mass.] (NASDAQ: DRNA) announced the appointment of John B. “Jack” Green as chief financial officer (CFO). Mr. Green has served as the Company’s interim CFO since January 2016. Prior to joining Dicerna as CFO, he served as CFO of Verastem, Inc. (VSTM). Previously, he served for more than 15 years as CFO of GTC Biotherapeutics (formerly Genzyme Transgenics), a publicly-traded biotechnology company spun out of Genzyme as a stand-alone company in 1993.

Acadia Realty Trust [RYE, N.Y.] (NYSE: AKR) announced that John Gottfried will succeed Jon Grisham as Chief Financial Officer on June 27, 2016. Mr. Grisham, who had previously announced his intention to retire, will serve as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer through June 26, 2016 and is expected to remain with the Company through a transition period. Mr. Gottfried has over 20 years of public accounting experience focused in the real estate industry and currently leads PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP’s (“PwC”) New York Metro real estate assurance practice. He has been responsible for several of the firm’s largest REITs and real estate companies.

GridLiance [CHICAGO] announced that Jeff Bishop has joined the Company as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. He most recently served as Chief Financial Officer for Seattle City Light. Prior to Seattle City Light, Mr. Bishop held a variety of financial leadership roles at PacifiCorp Energy, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway’s MidAmerican Energy Holdings.

Quantum Corp. [SAN JOSE, Calif.] (NYSE: QTM) announced that Fuad Ahmad has been appointed senior vice president and CFO. He brings 25 years of financial experience to the role, including over 12 years as a CFO for three different public and private companies. Ahmad is currently a partner at FLG Partners LLC, a leading CFO consulting and board advisory firm based in Silicon Valley. Ahmad joined FLG Partners in 2013 and has been advising various companies on matters ranging from scaling their operations and growth and financing strategies to restructuring and reorganizations. Prior to FLG Partners, he was CFO of Sezmi Inc. From 2004 to 2010, Ahmad was senior vice president and CFO of Globalstar Inc.

M&T Bank Corporation [BUFFALO, N.Y.] (NYSE: MTB) announced that Vice Chairman & Chief Financial Officer René F. Jones will undertake new managerial responsibilities effective May 2. In addition to his continuing oversight of the bank’s Treasury function and Wilmington Trust division, he adds two new business lines, Mortgage and Consumer Lending. Mr. Jones joined M&T in 1992 and has held a series of management positions within the Finance division. He was promoted to Chief Financial Officer and joined the bank’s Management Group in 2005, and he was named Vice Chairman in January 2014. M&T also announced that Executive Vice President Darren J. King will become Chief Financial Officer. Mr. King joined M&T in 2000, and was named to the Management Group in 2010. His experience in the financial services industry spans more than 25 years and includes senior leadership roles at Mercer Management Consulting, predecessor firm to Oliver Wyman, where he was Vice President in the Financial Services Practice.

Genius Brands International, Inc. [BEVERLY HILLS, CA] (OTCQB: GNUS) named former VP of Finance for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Rebecca Hershinger, as Chief Financial Officer. Hershinger initially began working with GBI in early 2014 through CFO Advisory Services, Inc., a corporation she founded that provided accounting and business advisory services to private and public companies, and then served as the Company’s CFO from October 2014 through June 2015, while living in Salt Lake City, UT. Hershinger held finance and corporate development positions at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Inc. in which she was responsible for various finance functions related to M&A analysis. She also served as an Investment Banking Analyst for JP Morgan Chase & Co., covering clients in the entertainment, real estate and hotels & gaming industries.

Shopoff Realty Investments [IRVINE, Calif.] announced that the company has appointed Lisa Jack as chief financial officer. Prior to joining Shopoff, Jack served as chief financial officer of IMH Financial Corporation. Previously, Jack served as chief financial officer for Arch Bay Capital.

Pacira Pharmaceuticals, Inc. [PARSIPPANY, N.J.] (NASDAQ: PCRX) announced the appointment of Charles A. Reinhart, III, to the position of Chief Financial Officer. He will succeed former Chief Financial Officer Jim Scibetta, who is currently President. Mr. Reinhart will start in this new role effective Tuesday, May 3, 2016. Prior to joining Pacira, Mr. Reinhart served as Chief Financial Officer of Covis Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Archimedes Pharma Ltd and PharmAthene, Inc. He has also held senior financial roles at Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Cephalon, Inc. and several early stage life sciences companies.

kCura [CHICAGO] announced the appointment of Jason Ream as chief financial officer. Jason was CFO at SolarWinds. Prior to joining SolarWinds, Jason worked with multiple software companies to drive their growth and innovation as an investment banker with J.P. Morgan. He also held various roles at UBS, Piper Jaffray, and Credit Suisse First Boston. kCura’s Keith Lieberman will transition from CFO to chief accounting officer.

Arabella Exploration, Inc. [FORT WORTH, TX] (OTC PINK: AXPLF) announced with regret that its Chief Financial Officer, Terry E. Sanford, has passed away. The Company further announced that Arabella Chief Executive Officer Jason Hoisager would serve as interim Chief Financial Officer.

Alarm.com Holdings, Inc. [TYSONS, Va.] (NASDAQ: ALRM) announced that its Chief Financial Officer, Jennifer Moyer, will be leaving the Company to accept a chief financial officer position at an early stage private company located in Washington, DC. She will remain with the Company as its Chief Financial Officer through the first quarter earnings and the 10-Q filing. On an interim basis, AJ Gollinger, the Company’s controller, will act as its principal accounting officer.
