UK | CFO Moves - week ending 7, 14 March 2014

Tracking CFO Movement Across the United Kingdom.


Dialog Semiconductor announced it has appointed former Virgin Media CFO, Eamonn O’Hare as non-executive Director. From 2009 to 2013, he was CFO and main board member of Virgin Media Inc. From 2005 to 2009 Mr O’Hare served as the UK CFO for one of the world’s largest retailers, Tesco plc. Before joining Tesco he was CFO and Board Director at Energis Communications. Prior to this Mr O’Hare spent ten years at PepsiCo Inc. in a series of senior executive roles in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

Britvic plc announced the appointment of Ian McHoul as an independent Non-Executive Director of the Company. Ian is currently the Chief Financial Officer of AMEC plc, a position he has held since 2008. Prior to this, Ian was Finance Director of Scottish & Newcastle plc and Finance and Strategy Director of the Inntrepreneur Pub Group Ltd, and he spent ten years with Foster’s Brewing Group in a variety of roles. Ian was a Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Premier Foods plc between 2004 and 2013, the last year of which he was also the Senior Independent Director.

The Co-operative Group announced that Richard Pennycook, Chief Financial Officer, has been appointed as Interim Group Chief Executive.

Pennant International Group plc announced that John Waller, Finance Director, has given notice of his intention to retire as Finance Director of the Company with effect from 31 December 2014.

Reliance Globalcom announced the appointment of Rory Cole as Chief Financial Officer of its three offshore businesses, comprising FLAG, Yipes and Vanco. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer of Reliance Globalcom’s Data and Voice business units. Mr. Cole was previously Chief Financial Officer of EMEA, MCI, a division of the former MCI/Worldcom. He also played a major role in Verizon’s acquisition of MCI where he was the Chief Operating Officer for Verizon Business’ International business unit.

Collagen Solutions Plc (AIM: COS) announced the appointment of Gillian Nancy Black as Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary. Gill Black has been Financial Director and Company Secretary of A&E Russell Ltd. After spending 2 years as Head of Finance and Administration at AKP Scotland Ltd between 2009 and 2011, Gill currently acts as Head of Finance and Company Secretary of GVA James Barr Ltd. Previously, Gill was a Senior Manager at KPMG, Glasgow.

Breedon Aggregates Limited announced that Rob Wood has been appointed as Group Finance Director, and as a director of the Company. Mr. Wood was most recently Group Financial Controller of Drax Group PLC, prior to which he held a variety of roles at Hanson PLC, including Chief Financial Officer – Australia & Asia Pacific. The Company also announces that Ian Peters will step down from the Board with effect from 10 March 2014.

BBA Aviation plc announced that Mark Hoad, Group Finance Director has notified the Board of his decision to step down with effect from 30 June 2014 after nine years with the Group, four as Group Finance Director.

Enables IT Group plc (AIM: EIT) announced that Mark Elliott is to become permanent Chief Financial Officer. Mark is currently a member of the Board and interim Chief Financial Officer. Mark Elliott joined Enables IT in May 2013 as Non-Executive Director before becoming Interim Chief Financial Officer in September 2013. Mark is a former partner at Baker Tilly, where he was a partner specialising in audit and corporate finance.

mirada plc announced that it has appointed Raúl Labrada Neira as Chief Financial Officer (non-board) with immediate effect. Mr Labrada Neira has extensive experience in the Spanish media sector, with experience in listed companies like Gestevisión Telecinco (Mediaset group), Multipark and Vértice 360.
