The software application, OmniTrade, is being developed to facilitate improved adherence to the anti-money laundering (AML) and counterterrorist financing (CTF) guidelines as set forth by the U.S. Treasury Department through the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) and/or the Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC).

The OmniTrade Anti-Money Laundering Solution helps financial institutions apply a risk-based approach that seamlessly connects Letter of Credit and Bills of Collections systems with traditional financial networks. As a result, banks can ensure regulatory compliance through monitoring transactions, flagging suspicious activity and alerting stakeholders when problems arise.

Recently, Information Builders and IPSA exhibited a template at the recent FIBA Anti-Money Laundering Conference in Miami, Florida where the software was extremely well received by the conference attendees.
