Home Capital Group Inc. [TORONTO] (TSX: HCG) announced the appointment of Brad Kotush as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company and its subsidiaries, Home Trust Company and Home Bank. Most recently, Mr. Kotush was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial and Risk Officer at Canaccord Genuity Group Inc. With the appointment of Mr. Kotush, Robert Blowes will step down from the role of Interim Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Blowes will remain a member of the Company’s Board of Directors. Mr. Kotush first joined a predecessor firm of Canaccord Genuity Group Inc. (Canaccord Genuity) in 1996.  When that firm was acquired by Canaccord Genuity in 1998 he became Vice President of Special Projects. In 2000, he was named Executive Director, Secretary and Chief Financial Officer of Canaccord Genuity’s European operations. Following that assignment, he served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Information Officer. In 2006, Mr. Kotush was named Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Canaccord Genuity.

iA Financial Group [QUEBEC CITY] announced that René Chabot, Executive Vice-President, CFO and Chief Actuary, will retire on February 15, 2018 after almost 35 years of service.

Gerald Leahy, our former CFO, is stepping down after fulfilling his temporary role as CFO on a consulting basis.

Vision Critical [VANCOUVER] announced that the company has hired Vinod Hariharan as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Hariharan joins Vision Critical most recently from Marketo, where he served as Vice President, Corporate Controller. Prior to joining Marketo, he held senior positions in the finance departments of Bazaarvoice and Salesforce, and spent 11 years in the audit practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Jourdan Resources Inc. [Mississauga, Ontario] (TSX-V: JOR) announced it has appointed John A. Ryan as its new Chief Financial Officer. With over 35 years of corporate and financial management experience, Mr. Ryan is President of Spruce Ridge Resources, CFO of Metalore Resources Ltd. a natural gas producer in Southern Ontario, and CFO of Sokoman Iron Corp. He also serves as a Director of other public and private companies. Mr. Ryan replaces Navjit Dhaliwal as CFO.

Valencia Ventures Inc. [TORONTO] (NEX: VVI.H) announced the appointment of Ryan Ptolemy as its Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Ptolemy serves as CFO to a number of public and private companies. The appointment of Mr. Ptolemy follows the departure of Greg Duras as Chief Financial Officer.
