CIBC (TSX: CM) announced that Kevin Glass has been named Senior Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer. He has been with CIBC since 2009, and was named Chief Financial Officer in 2011. Prior to joining CIBC, Mr. Glass was Chief Financial Officer for a number of public companies in Canada.

Ivanhoe Energy Inc. (TSX: IE) announced that Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Greg Phaneuf, is leaving Ivanhoe Energy to accept a role with another company. Mr. Phaneuf’s resignation is effective October 10, 2014.

IDM Mining Ltd. (TSX: IDM) announced that Susan Neale has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Ms. Neale replaces Jonathan Richards as CFO, who has accepted a position with a larger Company. Ms. Neale is also the chief financial officer of several other public mineral exploration companies.

Hodgins Auctioneers (TSX-V: HA) announced the appointment of Barrie Jung as interim Chief Financial Officer.

FLYHT Aerospace Solutions Ltd. (TSX-V: FLY) announced the retirement of its Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”), Thomas French. The Board of Directors (“the Board”) has approved the appointment of Nola Heale as the new CFO. Mr. French will remain with the Company until December 31st, 2014 to assist in the transition and complete projects for the Board. Nola Heale has 30 years financial management and reporting experience on three continents in diverse industries, including manufacturing, services and transportation logistics industries. She has held positions as chief financial officer, board director, financial and general operations management in public and private companies.

A. C. Simmonds and Sons (OTC: ACSX) announced the appointment of Jon Szczur as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the company. Szczur joins A. C. Simmonds from SMTC Corporation, where he was Vice President, Finance.
