CFO Moves – week ending October 30, 2015
Maropost [TORONTO] announced that Sanja Durbic has joined the company in the newly created role of Chief Financial Officer. Most recently Sanja was the Director of Finance and Administration at The Red Pin. Prior to The Red Pin, Sanja held prominent roles with Canadian Tire, The Rio-Can Real Estate Investment Trust and CBRE Canada.
AtmanCo inc. [MONTREAL] appointed Simon Bedard as their new CFO. He was recently employed as Vice-President Finance at National Vaccum Inc. Simon replaces Marc Guindon who was Interim CFO.
Questor Technology Inc. [CALGARY] (TSX-V: QST) announced that Dan Zivkusic has been appointed Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary. Most recently he served as CFO for Reform Energy Services Corp.
CFO Moves – week ending October 23, 2015
Hootsuite [VANCOUVER] appointed Sujeet Kini as chief financial officer. Hootsuite also welcomes Paul McFeeters, former CFO of OpenText, to the Hootsuite Board of Directors. Kini joins Hootsuite from OpenText. He has an extensive background in corporate finance and accounting at both public and private companies, including leadership roles at GT Group Telecom and PwC. McFeeters served as chief financial officer, as well as chief administrative officer of OpenText. McFeeters has more than thirty years of leadership, technology and finance experience, including executive roles at Platform Computing Inc., and Kintana Inc.
lululemon athletica inc. (NASDAQ:LULU) [VANCOUVER] announced that Stuart Haselden, Chief Financial Officer, will assume broader operational responsibilities adding Executive Vice President, Operations to his title.
Uni-Select Inc. (TSX: UNS) [Boucherville, QC] announced the appointment of Eric Bussières as its Chief Financial Officer, effective November 30, 2015. Prior to joining Uni-Select, Mr. Bussières spent over 10 years with CAE, where he held various positions that culminated in the role of Vice President Finance, Simulation Products, Civil Training and Services, which he held for five years. Prior to joining CAE, he dedicated fifteen years of his career to providing financial counsel to private and public companies with Société Générale, from 1997 to 2005, and the Royal Bank of Canada, from 1991 to 1997.
Red Pine Exploration Inc. (TSX-V: RPX) [TORONTO] announced that Marc Johnson has been appointed as Red Pine’s Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Johnson is also Principal at Quantum Advisory Partners LLP, a professional services firm that provides CFO services to public and private companies, the CFO of Energizer Resources Inc. and the CFO of Y Gold Resources. Mr. Johnson replaces Peter Liabotis, who served as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer since November 2012.
Energizer Resources Inc. (TSX-V: EGZ) [TORONTO] announced that Marc Johnson has been named Chief Financial Officer of the Company. He is a Principal at Quantum Advisory Partners LLP., a professional services firm that provides CFO services to public and private companies and is also the CFO of two gold exploration companies. Mr. Johnson replaces Peter Liabotis, who served as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer since September 2012.
GoldMoney Inc. (TSX-V: XAU) [TORONTO] announced the appointment of Katie Sokalsky as Chief Financial Officer. Katie Sokalsky previously specialized in financial services at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as an audit manager. Katie worked with GoldMoney (formerly BitGold Inc.) since its inception, with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, acting as appointed auditor of the Company. Sokalsky replaces Daniel Crandall as Chief Financial Officer of GoldMoney.
