Canada | CFO Moves – week ending April 4, 2014

Tracking CFO Movement Across Canada.


Davis + Henderson Corporation (TSX: DH) announced that Brian Kyle, its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), has informed the Company that he will be resigning from his position as Executive Vice-President and CFO, effective September 1st 2014, to pursue other personal and career interests. Mr. Kyle was appointed CFO of D+H in November 2009.

First Capital Realty Inc. (TSX: FCR) announced that Karen Weaver, the Company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, has made the decision to leave the Company to pursue other opportunities. She will remain with the Company to transition to her successor until June 2, 2014.

Ceres Global Ag Corp. (TSX: CRP) announced that Amy Stephenson has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of the Company, replacing Jason Gould who has completed his transition responsibilities following the reorganization of the Company that began in October 2013. Mrs. Stephenson has more than 20 years of finance and public company experience. She spent more than ten of those years acting as CFO for various public companies, including Petroworth Resources Inc., Augen Capital Corp., GoldQuest Mining Corp., and Hanfeng Evergreen.

Ergoresearch Ltd (TSX-V: ERG) announced the nomination of Piero Greco as its new Chief Financial Officer in the management team of the company. Mr. Greco will be assisted by Dominique Boudreau, who will now act as the group’s Corporate Controller. Mrs. Boudreau held the same position the last seven years for Laboratoire Langelier, a company acquired by Ergoresearch Ltd in January 2013.

Strategic Resources Inc. announced that Stephen Gledhill will no longer be functioning as Chief Financial Officer or a Director of the company. John Cook, currently a Director of the company, will be acting as Chief Financial Officer until a replacement can be found.

Easton Pharmaceuticals Inc. (OTC: EAPH) announced it has appointed Carla Pepe as its new CEO and President, replacing John Adams who will assume the position of CFO.

MENA Hydrocarbons Inc. announced the appointment of Brian Hearst as Chief Financial Officer and Director. Mr. Hearst has over 30 years experience in the oil and gas industry, including 15 years as Chief Financial Officer of junior public companies with both international and domestic operations. Most recently Mr. Hearst was CFO of Canacol Energy Ltd. Mr. Hearst is also a director of Gold Royalties Corp.

Rio Alto Mining Limited (TSX: RIO) announced that Anthony Hawkshaw, Rio Alto’s Chief Financial Officer and director, has decided that he will not stand for re-election to the board of directors of the Company and will retire effective May 1, 2014. Mr. Hawkshaw has agreed to continue assisting the Company in an advisory capacity as required. The Board of Directors has appointed, Kathryn Johnson, Vice President, Corporate Reporting, as interim Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Johnson joined the Rio Alto team in December 2011. Prior to this, Ms. Johnson was the Corporate Controller at Petaquilla Minerals and a senior associate in the Audit and Assurance Group of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.

Magnum Energy Inc. (TSX-V: MEN) announced the resignation of Kelly Kerr as Magnum’s Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer.

El Tigre Silver Corp. (TSX-V: ELS) announced that it has appointed Lisa Dea as Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”). Previously, Ms. Dea was the Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Silvermex Resources Inc. from May 2011 until it was acquired in July 2012. Prior to Silvermex, Ms. Dea was the VP Finance and CFO of Polaris Minerals Corporation, for 5 years. Prior to joining Polaris, Ms. Dea spent eleven years at Deloitte & Touche LLP, achieving the position of Senior Manager. El Tigre also reports that Grant Smith has resigned as CFO of the Company.

Pan American Fertilizer Corp. (TSX-V: PFE) announced that Sukhprit Sajan has been appointed Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Sajan is replacing Herrick Lau, who has held the position since May 2012. Mr. Sajan has been VP Finance with the Company since March 2013 and has several years of experience working in rapidly growing companies in various locations including North and Central America, the Caribbean, United Kingdom and Europe.

Chinook Energy Inc. (TSX: CKE) announced that Geoff Barlow has tendered his resignation as Vice-President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Chinook effective April 10, 2014 to pursue other opportunities.
