Immunotec Inc. [VAUDREUIL-DORION, QUEBEC] (TSX-V: IMM) announced that Mario Paradis was elected to serve as a director of the company. Mario Paradis is Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of Neptune Technologies and Bioressources Inc. and of Acasti Pharma Inc. since 2015. Between 2008 and 2015, Mr. Paradis was Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer at Atrium Innovations Inc. Prior to this, Mr. Paradis held roles of increasingly authority at Aeterna Zentaris, most notably as Vice- President Finance and Administration & Corporate Secretary. Mr. Paradis began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
Dicom Transportation Group [MONTREAL] announced that Andrew Grant joined as Chief Financial Officer. Andrew most recently served as CFO of OHL International, a division of Ozburn-Hessey Logistics (OHL), Vice President of Finance at HD Supply, as well as Vice President of Operations for Ryder System.
IOU Financial Inc. [MONTREAL] (TSX-V: IOU) announced the appointment of David John Kennedy as its Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Kennedy began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Mr. Kennedy then became Chief Financial Officer and Compliance Officer of Mirabaud Canada Inc. For the last nine years, Mr. Kennedy was Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of Dale Parizeau Morris Mackenzie Inc. and Mass Insurance Brokers Limited.
Petrocapita Income Trust [CALGARY] (CSE: PCE.UN) announced that Evelyn Studer, formerly Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Petrocapita GP I Ltd. has left Petrocapita to pursue other opportunities. Greg Marr director of the General Partner, chairman of the audit committee of the General Partner and trustee of the Trust has assumed the role of CFO in addition to his other duties with Petrocapita.
Honey Badger Exploration Inc. [TORONTO] (TSX-V: TUF) announced that Marc Johnson has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Johnson is also the CFO of Energizer Resources Inc., Red Pine Exploration Inc. and of a private gold exploration company.
Lexaria Corp. [Kelowna, BC] (CSE: LXX) announced that Bal Bhullar is resigning as CFO and Director of Lexaria. Bal has been CFO of Lexaria for over 8 years and is leaving the Company to pursue other opportunities. Chris Bunka will be named as interim CFO.
Excelsior Mining Corp. [VANCOUVER] (TSX-V: MIN) announced the appointment of Mark Distler as Chief Financial Officer, replacing Carlo Valente who had served as the Company’s CFO since December, 2014. Mr. Distler began his career with Phelps Dodge Corporation and has held senior financial positions for companies including Agnico Eagle Mines (Senior Financial Manager), Mercator Minerals (CFO), Curis Resources (Operations Controller) and Frontera Copper Corporation (CFO).
Northview Apartment Real Estate Investment Trust [CALGARY] (TSX: NVU.UN) announced the appointment of Travis Beatty as Chief Financial Officer. He was previously Chief Financial Officer of OPTI Canada Ltd. prior to its sale in 2011. More recently, Mr. Beatty was the Chief Financial Officer of West Valley Energy Corp.
