CFO Moves – week ending May 1, 2015

Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, Inc. (TSX: VRX) announced that Howard B. Schiller has advised the Company of his decision to step down as Chief Financial Officer once a successor is appointed. In order to facilitate a smooth transition, Mr. Schiller will remain in his current position as the search for his replacement proceeds. Mr. Schiller joined Valeant in December 2011 as Chief Financial Officer and was appointed to the Board of Directors of Valeant in September 2012.

Gildan Activewear Inc. (TSX: GIL) announced the appointment of Rhodri J. Harries as Executive Vice-President, Chief Financial and Administrative Officer. Mr. Harries has been the Chief Financial Officer of Rio Tinto Alcan since 2014, where previously he held the position of Chief Commercial Officer from 2009 to 2013. Mr. Harries joined Alcan in Montreal in 2004 as the Vice President and Corporate Treasurer and remained with the company following its acquisition by Rio Tinto in 2007. Prior to joining Alcan, Mr. Harries spent 15 years in North America, Asia and Europe with General Motors, where he held successive positions of increasing responsibility in corporate finance, treasury and business development. Mr. Harries succeeds Laurence G. Sellyn, who will continue with Gildan as required in order to support Mr. Harries’ integration into the Company and ensure an orderly transfer of responsibilities.

Grande West Transportation Group Inc. announced that it has terminated its Chief Financial Officer John Sutherland. In the interim, duties will be overseen by Grande West Director, Don Siemens. Mr. Siemens is an independent financial advisor and corporate director. Don Siemens is a Chartered Accountant and previously was Partner-in-Charge of Thorne Ernst & Whinney’s (now KPMG) Vancouver office Financial Advisory Services group.

Savanna Energy Services Corp. announced that Dwayne LaMontagne has been appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, replacing Darcy Draudson who has resigned. Dwayne LaMontagne most recently served as Savanna’s Interim President and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to that time he was Savanna’s Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer. Dwayne joined Savanna in 2006 through the merger with Western Lakota Energy Services Inc. where he served as Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer since November 2002.

Acasti Pharma Inc. (TSX-V: APO) announced the departure of Andre Godin as Chief Financial Officer.


CFO Moves – week ending April 24, 2015

Laurentian Bank announced that Michel C. Lauzon, Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of the Bank, will retire, effective August 1, 2015. Mr. Lauzon has held this position since January 5, 2009. Mr. Lauzon joined Laurentian Bank in 1988 for an initial period of 10 years, during which he occupied different positions in the areas of product management and treasury. He returned to the Bank in 2009 as Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer.

Exco Technologies Limited (TSX: XTC) announced the appointment of Drew Knight, as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President Finance, effective May 19, 2015. Drew replaces departing Chief Financial Officer and Vice President Finance, Mary Nguyen who is leaving Exco after eight years.

PrairieSky Royalty Ltd. (TSX: PSK) announced that PrairieSky has hired Pam Kazeil as the company’s Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer, effective June 1, 2015. Ms. Kazeil is currently the Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of an oil and gas corporation. Ms. Kazeil’s experience includes serving as Vice President, Finance of Daylight Energy Ltd. from 2008 to 2011, and prior thereto Ms. Kazeil held increasingly senior finance roles with Sword Energy Ltd. and its predecessor Thunder Energy Trust from 2004 to 2008, including as Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Kazeil started her accounting career at KPMG LLP in 2001.

PetroNova Inc. (TSX-V: PNA) announced that Stelvio Di Cecco, Chief Financial Officer, will retire from the Company effective April 30, 2015 and will remain as a Director of the Board. Alexander Mora, PetroNova’s Corporate Controller since August 2011, will be appointed as the Company’s new Chief Financial Officer.

Zaio Corporation (TSX-V: ZAO) announced that it has hired Ron Love as Chief Financial Officer. Love replaces Craig Hauer who has served under contract as CFO to Zaio since 2011. Mr. Love has worked in a number of industries with experience at Karnalyte Resources, AltaLink, Greyhound Canada, Forzani Group, and Deloitte and Touche.

Silver Mountain Mines Inc. (TSX-V: SMM) announced the appointment of Stuart Crichton as Chief Financial Officer of the Company, who replaces Sandra Beaulieu as the Company’s CFO.
